It seems those that were saying all in store preorders should be switched to ship to home from BB might not have all the facts. While not always on release date, I have gotten all my wave 2 I'm store pickups including Mac, Falcon, and Pit. It seems some of these ship to home orders are just stuck with no recourse. Hope you all get updates soon.
All three of my ship to home orders from best buy came no problem. Little Mac, Pit. And Captain Falcon

I think I read others say that they used those $10 promotional credits BB issued lately and they were not refunded when their order was canceled. That would be a loss of $20 for me. Not that it's really in my hands at this point. I just kind of wish BB would communicate or do something. 14 days is a long time for an order to be prepared and worse, the release date passed 5 days ago.
Recieved my Falcon and Pit from BB via ship to home w/o issue. I think they arrived on Friday 1/2
Zelda's probably the 2nd most common of Wave 2, with Luigi being the easiest to find.

Some areas are different than the others but Zelda is still available multiple places online for market price and she doesn't fetch high prices on ebay.

But yes, I meant that is rare to find at that particular store, it helps prioritize what stores you should go first to find certain figures.

Also I apologize for bringing up resale conversation earlier in the thread. I was shocked at what they were selling for.
For the record I have a bunch of common amiibos opened but kept "the trinity" sealed on the off chance they might cover the cost of the amiibos (common ones) I actually do care about.
I never expected the rares to be fetching the ridiculous sums on eBay they are currently getting. I spent way more than I should have on wave one although I guess we are all in the same boat in that aspect.
I cry for those who can't get the characters they want.
I'm at 6 (soon to be 7) amiibos of characters I wanted. Once Wave 3 hits the only ones I want from there are Toon Link and Sonic (for my brother) then Shulk, Megaman, Sheik, and Ike for myself. Maaaybe Bowser and Dedede but we'll see how that goes when they arrive.

I'd love for these to get more support, but they are shy of going full skylanders. I just like being able to buy figures of some of my favorite Nintendo characters for a good price.
I did give up looking for the jakks pacific toys after they had the same exact stock issues though, so I may lose interest here as well. Nintendo has to make things fucking difficult.

I wasn't criticizing your spreadsheet! I was making a joke in regards to how simple and straightforward it is-- I think it's funny that people seem to be having trouble reading it.
I've looked at it more than a few times, so I'll take a second to say thanks for making such a nice reference tool.

NOTE: Wave 3 is only separate in EU and JPN. Shulk, Dedede, Meta Knight, Sonic and Mega Man Are all released in February for those regions. All figures are released Feb 1st in NA.

That was me. It flat out works. Just need to be careful pulling a corner up, and then apply a drop as you slowly peel and it comes off without any issue. Been using it for years

In other news, I just arrived home and my Wii U is dead, red blinking of death, I´m trying to fix it since I bought it used and don´t want to send it to Nintendo yet.

What really want is a co-op game for amiibos or a option of some kind.
My dream would be for xenoblade X. Scan my Samus in, she rolls up in her own mech saying "let's go on a adventure" and me with a tear in my eye "yes. Let's do that".

Wave 3 comes out (in stores) on Sunday, Feb 1 - correct. Sunday? Is it expected for Walmart (open 24-hours) to have Wave 3 + exclusive (maybe) on their floor at midnight 2/1? Then when Target opens at 8am will the be prestocked with Wave 3 + exclusive (maybe); same for Best Buy that opens at 11am.
I have all my Wave 3 preorders at Gamestop (cept fro Slulk) so no worries - but I wanted to get my plan of attack set for the other stores for their exclusives and was wondering how in store Amiibo stock was handled for the previous Waves.

Oh yeah. I forget all about Nintendo Direct. I guess I could say that I stopped caring about Nintendo Direct since Smash 4 and Mario Kart 8 are out now.
I'm pretty sure that I would watch it anyway.
walmart doesn't have an exclusive, you're missing TRU. Since none of those stores are open 24 hours you'll have to change strategies. I recommend checking each stores hours online so you know exact times they will open whichever day. Around here i think Target is 8, TRU 9, BB 10.

I personally think if only USA gets exclusives and the international don't, just don't have exclusives. What do they achieve with this besides frustration with their own fans? What do they gain by making exclusives available in certain areas? People rather just buy the darn things in any stores they walk into. All this does is give off the feeling to people these are highly limited and will likely never be restocked driving up the prices.
I got one through a pre-order, but not once have I actually seen one in stores, same with Little Mac and Pit.
