I wish we were that lucky. We've been out of Mario, Link, and Pikachu for a bit, so unless you really want DK and Peach, it's a fucking wasteland until tomorrow morning.

Just curious, anyone know where I might get figures of some of the cut characters? I've got ones for Squirtle and Ivysaur, found Snake, Young Link and Pokemon Trainer (aka Red)- but I'm stumped on some of the others.

Who else are you looking for exactly? There are figures of virtually every other figure I can think of except Lucas.
I can't find anything for Lucas, Ice Climbers, Roy, or Wolf.
Snake, Ivysaur, Squirtle, Pichu, Pokemon Trainer, Mewtwo and Young Link are doable. But those 4 don't seem to exist.

Best Buy called me letting me know that they did not get Little Mac, which is weird because I got an e-mail about 20 minutes ago saying it would be available for pick up tomorrow.

It was glitch that let people use Amiibos for the B2G1 gaming software (PS and Xbox). It lasted a few hours before they fixed it.
Been checking various Toys 'R Uses, Targets, and Best Buys for a Diddy Kong amiibo over the past few days with no luck - until today! I was visiting my parents in Thousand Oaks (CA.), so I decided to check the local Best Buy just for kicks, and they had just one left! Nabbed it immediately. <3

Amazon UK. Perhaps one of the only Amiibos I'll get because it's more of a curiosity. Plus his model looks great.

Lucky for me I think I get free return shipping. I already have a Diddy so the less wrecked of my unopened two will likely be going to someone on GAF that can't find Diddy.

Since Toys R Us never took him down from their website, I would keep your eyes peeled on that one for possible instore pick up or home delivery being an option again. Definitely be looking around though. We might end up getting some in the next few days on the east coast (Hell, the rumors could be true and they could already be here and just are being held back)

So is Nintendo purposefully making these things hard to find? No luck on Diddy or Luigi at BB. I saw Fox earlier at TRU and almost bought him and another. Held out to check best buy but they're decimated. On BB's site Fox isn't available for shipping anywhere near me. I shoulda bought Fox at TRU when I had the chance dammit.

Oh, nice! Sorry I nabbed this one out from under you, but if it helps, I checked the Toys 'R Us across the street from that Best Buy beforehand and they didn't have any Diddy amiibo, so don't bother going there if you're looking for him. They had a ton of Zeldas, though.

The mistake was stashing it behind amiibos. Should have put it behind Skylanders or Disney infinity figures.

I think someone stole all the Foxs' at the TRU near me. Three of them say it's in stock for store pickup, but neither of them have any. I ordered it online at the 3rd TRU and went inside early since I was already here, and currently they're running around looking for it.
Another gaffer already grabbed them I believe.

UPDATE: Just got confirmation from my good friend who is a manager at TRU that the memo about not helping people get amiibos is true and that his store isn't even receiving any Captain Falcons. He said he'll look around and let me know what happens.

Was at a babies/toysrus today with the wife getting diapers for the little one. They had Luigi so I grabbed him and canceled my amazon preorder. Now I have Mac, Zelda, Diddy, and Luigi and I just need Pit and Captain Falcon to complete wave 2. I have those two on preorder at amazon though.
