I want a Shovel Knight amiibo like burning hot fire. I know it'll never happen, but that would be SO FUCKING COOL.
It looks like Nintendo is only doing amiibo for upcoming and current releases on their software. I'd be surprised if they did an amiibo line based on previous games/characters.
For some reason I read it as you want to see a shovel knight amiibo burn in a camp fire. Like that video that have someone burn little Mac for some reason.
Good news is? A Shovel Knight sequel is actually very likely, and may be in the works right now. Bad news is? Nintendo has no stake in the game; it's owned by Yacht Club Games, who definitely don't have the money for NFC Figures.
Someone I know has been talking nonsense about Amiibo on Facebook making claims that he has a set of Amiibo that won't be released until June. He won't take pictures or say who they are.
In other news: got my Ike pre-order from GameStop in yesterday. Now I'm just waiting on those Lucina and Robin Amiibo pre-orders to go up.

I can fit 12 more amiibo on my shelf.
I'm missing 2 of the released one, then wave 4 has 6, so that means there's only space for 4 more :c
So if I'm counting right I need to find space for 9 more to fit the Smash roster, plus the possibility of Mii and Mewtwo.

$63 with free SAL shipping. On Amazon Japan the cheapest is 7900 yen which is $70 USD, and then you have to pay for shipping via a forwarding service.
Edit Looking at the listing again, the description oddly says "amiibo Pit" so you should contact the seller first if you buy it.

Yeah, that's exactly why I said it'll never happen. But it sure would be cool! And there is always the dim possibility of an amiibo being made for Shovel Knight's sequel, whenever that comes out. I'm not holding my breath, though.
Haha, no way - I love Shovel Knight. I'd treasure an amiibo of him! I didn't know about that video, but god I hate people like that.

Well due to Japanese laws, you need to submit proof of identity before you can register with an import service, meaning you need to submit your Drivers license and one other thing (I submitted my bank statements).
Then once you're given the clear you're given an address to put as the ship to address for anything you order online, then they tell you your package arrived, and how much it'll cost to ship it, and they hold onto it until you pay it (they're closed Saturdays and Sundays, which is Friday/Saturday our time).
Gotta second that. Shovel Knight amiibo would be one of my must haves!
When will they request that information?

They've had them in the back since Monday apparently. I never got a call or text from gamestop like they've done in the past, but when I showed up and asked, they went to the back like they had a pile of them.

I watched the Mario Party 10 trailer, although I'm not sure if we can say that Daisy and Waluigi are confirmed for Amiibos. The Amiibo game mode only showed Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, Yoshi, Wario, Rosalina, and DK as playable. (No idea how the Bowser Amiibo fits into that mode)
Although I do think it is safe to say that DK, Wario, and Rosalina will be receiving Super Mario line Amiibos based on their in game figures. Although that probably won't happen for a while, at least until Smash Wario does his run through stores.

My Fox is out for delivery from UPS today, so i'm hoping. Ordered on the 20th.
I ordered Dedede from them too. I did receive an email order confirmation. And my CC has been charged. As far as I can tell it hasn't been shipped yet. Although the item description did say something like "shipping Feb 28" or "available Feb 28" or something so I'm waiting until then to get annoyed.
My MegaMan arrived with some dents in the plastic packaging. It's not huge and it's not noticeable from most angles, but I'm going to keep it in box, so I was just going to return it.
I'm not sure if anyone is having difficulty finding him. Does anyone want it before I do this? I'd just ask for regular price + tax + shipping.

My 3-De I ordered from them is being shipped as we speak. Should get it by Friday. Wasn't sure about them, but they seem to be legit. Just have to cross my fingers the condition of the amiibo is alright.

Thanks to everyone who was hyping up the Sonic/Megaman links yesterday! Ended up getting a Sonic from GameStop. Was hoping Dedede would go on sale also but I ended up doing an Amazon import for $25, which I didn't think was too terrible a price (less than double, I'm okay with typically).
