My guess is that they have no idea how many they're going to be able to get in still due to the dock strike. Apparently all the tricks to get product and supply out are drying up. Just read that car manufactures here are slowing production because supplies are running low to make the cars.

But if they launch it on my birthday next month like they are with Mario Party- I'd be happy to get a bunch of amiibo as a present.
 
Since when is Zelda so rare and expensive in Europe? Don't find anything under 25,- Euro.

Whats the highest price you paid for an amiibo thus far (including shipping costs and taxes)?

Import Lucario and meta knight paid about $55 together with 2 day shipping. Took forever to ship but once it shipped go damn it only took one day for the package to arrive from Osaka, Japan to NJ, US miraculously quick.

Second highest is WFT and Villager for about $40 on Amazon.de

The rest I have either got it on sale or normal price.

I might be desperate enough to pay for scalper price Little Mac however as he the only hole in my smash collection...

i should've imported all my amiibos straight from Japan. they're cheaper because of the yen prices and i don't care about packaging because i'm opening them. i'm gonna do that for all future waves.

Yeah, euro imports are a bit more expensive, but i'll gladly pay that as a "Peace of mind and decent sleep" fee

Cheaper than 12.99 plus tax?
Or 10.xx with GCU?

Makes sense for the hard to get ones, but not sure if that price can be beat.

Yup, got all wave 4 (Robin, Lucina, Wario, Charizard, Ness, and PAC man)preorders in on amazon.co.uk and I been sleeping easy even though it is a bit pricey. I'm just importing the rest of the Smash series because all these scattered release dates are a pain in the ass.

Amen. Bonus points because he doesn't have any weird stand like other figures wich makes it stand even more. Nintendo taking care of Mega Man more than Capcpom confirmed.
 
I would have preferred a more matte paint mix on Megaman and Samus.

That metallic coloured paint just doesn't look right to me. Nothing on Metaknight, Captain, or Link looks cheap. And its still slightly metallic just a lot more matte.
 
Alright, did any GameStop getting new amiibo shipments yet? I recalled that Shulk got released early last week on Wednesday so I want to check and see if it's in case for other Amiibo.

They changed the status for some of Wave 3 to online only. Now I can't see when they get Mega Man and Sonic.
 
Target.com just shipped my DDD from last night's order.

BestBuy.com still hasn't shipped my Meta Knight & Mega Man for shipping to home. Come onnnnnnn

i need to check a new Walmart that was opened recently near me. It's like two stories. I should check out what their amiibo section looks like.

Mine looked that way back at the end of December and early January. But since they actually removed the other things and have filled it entirely with amiibos. All commons but I did see two fox about a week ago.
 
Switch out the 2nd shelving of Peaches for DK & that pretty much is what my Walmart looked like when I checked a week or so ago.
 
I wouldn't be surprised if there was a few Animal Crossing amiibo (Villager, Tom Nook, then a few more), then a ton of cards for the citizens, wallpaper, furniture, shirt patterns, etc.

This would make sense, and they sort of did that with the e-Reader cards back in the day. Though they just sent a letter and a gift, the villager didn't actually move into your village.

I would fist-fight any of you for a Tangy card. Seriously.

Sorry about Hangouts. Seems Google is very picky about who are allowed in group chats there. It might be privacy setting related since when I looked up the error people were saying that they had some people blocked and stuff.
