Sonic's going to be my holy grail, it feels like.
Apparently one Fox Amiibo arrived at a Gamestop about 20 minutes away from me but I'm stuck without a car today and everyone is busy with more important things than Amiibo.
I called and they're holding it for me but it sounds like it could be sold at anytime. He said they'll hold it for 24 hours but then goes and says I should get it before tomorrow morning or else they'll put it up on the shelf. My local TRU supposedly got 12 Foxes in today and were all sold within an hour. Sure hope he's there tomorrow morning or I'm wasting gas. :|

Consider me interested in Meta Knight...if Friday's ice-wait doesn't pay off.
So yesterday I got an email from Gamestop saying they canceled my Ike order. Now they've sent me one telling me the order has been changed and they'll send me one instead of the two I originally ordered because they only limit one per household. I had ordered two for my girlfriend and I. I looked at my order on their website and my order hasn't changed. I emailed them back asking if I was still going to get the one Ike at least. So is my order back on and am I going to get at least one Ike? I'm so confused.
I heard that the 2/20 amiibos (Ike/DDD/Mega/Sonic) are now delayed until 2/25....if you ordered them before December 26th. Any DDD/Ike pre-orders placed after that are now delayed to a second batch in "spring/summer".

I'm hoping more places have it available in the next few weeks to order.
Wave 3B (Ike, Dedede, Sonic, Mega Man) is now expected to arrive at Gamestop stores on Wednesday, Feb 25.
Anyone who preordered Ike after 12/26 will now have to wait until "Spring" to get their amiibo. Anyone who preordered Dedede after 12/30 will have to wait until "Summer". MM and Sonic will be available for all preorders no matter the preordered date.
Ike has a limit of one per customer, no matter how many you preordered. The same limit does not apply to the other 3.

If you get an extra Shulk, I'm definitely interested.
And the wait for Ike is not fun. He's fully paid off at my GS and I just want to receive a text from them saying he's ready to be picked up but so far... nada. I preordered him before Christmas so hopefully I get him in the first batch.

This is 1000% true and correct as I read the memo in store earlier today
For us missed-the-preorder folks, are we still expecting GameStop, Best Buy and Walmart to have Mega Man on the 20th?
He's the only Wave 3 I'm worried about, and I can hit those three stores in a three-mile radius on Friday. What's Mega's rarity looking like for those of you who have been in the loop?

Bah, an extra week for Sonic. Well, least I can time it so I donate plasma, then head to GS which is close by to pick him us & hopefully a Mega Man as well.
Also nice to see the document stating one per household.

Man, miss a day and 30+ pages of a new Amiibo thread go by.
So now I wait until next Wednesday? I only pre-ordered 1 Ike back when they went up in store so I'm good. Wonder if that means they'll be little to no extras. When I last went to GameStop they seemed sure they'd get a few extras.
This whole amiibo thing is crazy. I don't get how they could change pre-orders for ones already filled out months in advance.
Wow. So basically, the answer is, "order Mega Man from Japan if you want one."

There will be no extras of anybody according to Corporate, we aren't even getting our full allotment of Preorders.... Some got delayed until a vague "spring/summer"
Oh god, you're not getting any spare Mega Man now? Ugh, & I was planning on using my $7.50 or even $12.50 in credit.
Freakin' budget, now I regret not buying myself one when Meijer had them since I felt I only had enough for Ike & Dedede, then one for my Canadian friend who gladly paid for it.

Well then. Bummer. This has been the longest wait for a Wave (or second half of one anyway), you'd figure it would be more sorted out. Not even getting all pre-orders in that went up in Nov./Dec? This is nuts, man.

I just called the two Gamestops I have Ike and Dedede preordered at and both said I should be getting them next Wednesday. I ordered one of each at the GS near my gf's house a few days into December then preordered another set a couple days before Christmas at the one by my house. So lucky I didn't reserve them all at the same store and that I did so early.
The girl I talked to at the first store said they will only go by initial reserve dates in their system and that they only have enough stock coming in to cover whoever ordered before cut-off date. She said others should get theirs around May.

Well preorders for Nov-Christmas are SUPPOSED to be set, everything else is god knows if or when. Corporate is basically HOPING for Spring... Like I said this whole thing is a mess for everyone

DDD is about $26 shipped with prime on Amazon, japanese version though. But hey, who knows how much rarer he will become...
