my megaman and sonic were shipped from gamestop and should be arriving Fri.
my meta-knight was shipped from best buy and should be arriving Fri.
Thus completes the circle and my wave 3. It was a long trip and I'm glad it's finally over.

For now it should be ok. As my work was all done and the technically I'm not out of the job until the end of next week and I'm paid a week in arrears I've got two weeks of pay left to find another job. I could go in tomorrow and next week and dance around but there is no point and my boss said to just take the week off to use to look for a new job. I've literally spent this last week doing either nothing or finishing work on cases done by other people.
It was a surprise as they were literally interviewing people to work on this contract this morning and just yesterday we were told that we'd get new cases on Monday and there was a whole new work plan for stuff going forward and now we were all told the contract is ending the end of next month and they are letting people go in phases and reallocating some of the permanent staff to other contracts.Most recent hires were let go first and I was part of that group of 5.

Anyone get any word on in-store pickups from GameStop? Some people are citing shipping to home confirmations, but wanted to see if people else wise are getting in-store stuff? (Dedede, Sonic, Mega Man, Ike)

Mega Man will be at Best Buy and mayyyybe Walmart. Your best bet is Best Buy. But you better call off work or get someone to get in line at 8 a.m. for you. Mega Man will sell out in the first 15 minutes, I'm sure.
He comes out in GameStop next Wednesday, by the way.

no. They will be gone about 12 seconds (or however long it takes the people in line at open to get to the amiibo section) after the store opens.

Well, what are you waiting for them to text you about? If it's Ike and or Dedede, the first shipment has been delayed until the 25th, and the second shipment to spring.

On another note, if any of you guys in the states ship amiibo to each other, do NOT use the fucking postal system. I have a trade in place with another user here (my Shulk for his Rosalina) and he sent via USPS who, of course, couldn't deliver the package (to a BUSINESS ADDRESS) and now I had to pay an extra 18 bucks out of pocket just to have them intercept and attempt to re-deliver to my home address. Here's hoping they don't lose it.

I doubt it'll happen, but I'm hoping I can snag a Mega Man tomorrow at Best Buy when I pick up my Meta Knight preorder. Problem is that I won't be up there until probably noon-ish. I can dream though!

I've been buying/selling on eBay for over 12 years, and was even a powerseller a couple years ago. Within in the US I have only used USPS, and never had one issue. Not one single issue in over 12 years. Sure things happens but to say the fucking worst is simply not true.
UPS Mail innovations seems to currently be the worst. That is a package that starts off with UPS and is handed off to USPS for delivery. Neither side is truly at fault, it is simply a slow, delayed process.
Kinda have to agree with this. I sent a Lucario and Rosalina Amiibo to my nephew in SC from NJ, Two-Day priority mail. Other than a slight delay because of the inclement weather in NJ. It got there fine.

I have always have issues with USPS. They just suck here in Chicago. UPS / FedEx all the way.
And they're the worst if they can't deliver a simple package to a major business address (especially if that package is a highly coveted item), make it nearly impossible to contact someone over customer service, and are generally unhelpful when reached.
