On a side note, I already got an email from Nebraska Furniture Mart that my order has shipped. That was fast! (I got Sonic and Fox when those posted, so pissed I missed Dedede).

And a few emails down I see I got an email from UPS confirming NFM's email saying I should have my package on Tuesday, the 24th.
 
Gonna be picking up Mega Man, Sonic and Ike from my buddy at GS today. Unfortunately the Dedede I had on order is gonna be in another shipment that has an estimated date of Spring 2015. Something just had to come up and get in the way of me completing my wave. :(
 
Did anyone who ordered Dedede from Amazon on Thu get it shipped yet? Mine has been saying Shipping Today all day. Today is almost over, what is Amazon waiting for? So frustrating.
 
Got in Ike, Dedede, and Meta Knight from BB today, all look great. They also shipped my Mega Man, so as soon as he arrives my waves 1-3 will be complete! (Also, sorry to hear about all you guys who got stuff dinged up in shipping. I have yet to receive any damaged packaging... and yet I open them all and throw away the packaging!)

Mine was bought and shipped Wednesday. Though they seem to have not used 2 Day Delivery even though I have Prime.

Dang, I wonder what's taking so long then. I have Prime too. I guess I should be asking if anyone has had their order cancelled or anything like that.
 
So i went to Best Buy, ha to eal with the whole process of them canceling my 2 other Meta Knights so I could use their deposits to pay off the only one they would let me have.
First off, the flap was bent, noticeable, and the amiibo itself was scuffed, as though it where used.

I ha my friend bring his Japanese Meta Knight over so I could look at it in comparison, and it was nowhere NEAR as bad as the American one. I'm overall disappointed.

Can't wait to see how many Meta Knights are returned by people not realizing that the scuffs are part of Meta Knight's design.

No doubt a lot. I have even seen people on ebay sell them as defective "dirty faces".

I have seen 5 people already complain about it in this thread alone.

Edit for above: The one I saw on ebay earlier today labeled as "dirty face" was just like it and it was Japanese model.

Looks like the amount of paint they use can vary from figure to figure.
 
just got my ddd, i wish I noticed at the store but the clerk gave me a fucked up DDD :( his eyes aren't fully colored white & there are some smudges on the hammer(but that doesn't bother me, its mainly the eyes that bother me) i wish i wasn't wearing my sunglasses that way I could've told her to switch it for another one >_> anyway, heres my collection so far(this is split between my bro and I, I just got 1 more than him)

I hate that bestbuy puts huge stickers on in store pickup amiibos. Now I have to get out the hair dryer to soften up the sticker so I can remove it without damaging the box. Poor D3 couldn't see!
 
Bah, my budget has taken a bigger blow than I thought it did. Guessing I won't be able to get Meta Knight any time soon. Least a friend is gonna send me Fox & Mega Man is suppose to come on Wed., then Sonic either Monday or Tuesday.

And if you like paying an arm and a leg. You'd honestly be better off with ebay prices, you have to add on shipping to those already high prices.

Edit: Well Sonic and MM aren't too bad really. It's the shipping that will get you.
 
Kinda surprised that folks don't like the patina on Meta Knight. I think that's the sort of detail that gives amiibo character. Different strokes, I guess.
 
well gamestop has my Sonic, Mega Man and Dedede today but my Ike is on the spring delay, I couldn't go out to camp for Meta Knight because of clinicals so I asked my brother in cali to go for me and when he got there it was only 6 people in line so it seemed promising but when they finally opened they were like "oh we're preordered out" like they couldn't post a damn sign on the door so that maybe he coulda tried another best buy

now I am looking at what is clearly an ebay exclusive and damn the prices
unless anyone has an extra they'd like to sell me

Yeah, it looks like the range of where they've applied the "wear and tear" varies a lot. Here's what mine looks like:

Pretty clean face, with most of the blue paint showing up on the top ridges of the mask.

yes i recieved 3 phone calls from them actually 2 automated ones yesterday telling me that Ike was delayed but that I'd get dedede on the 25th and then one this afternoon saying hey we got the other dedede sonic and mega but you're gonna be SOL on Ike till spring

The N-Y prices actually better than most eBay prices, especially for Rosalina (I'm not sure if she's gone up in price since but she was like £5 cheaper than eBay).

The shipping is worth it if you buy a few, it evens out the price a bit since the commons are cheaper. Also delivery for me was really fast, came in about a week with eco delivery.

I got Mega Man and Sonic today which I preordered from GAME. You know it's bad when your mum suggests you get a display cabinet for them because there's no room on your desk anymore.
 
So...I actually received a Meta Knight that has a completely clean face. It somehow didn't get the darker coat of paint at all.

Though for real, if any of you need a Lucario and are in Cincy any time soon, I'd be glad to help. I have an extra one still, I just don't like shipping them off since I never got into the ebay stuff.
 
SOOOO whats the status on Gamestops online site preorders for Sanic and Rock man?

Should be sometime today right? Or did I horrendously miss it :(

Oh man, I hope my store calls me soon then and gets them in. I'm anxious to finish this wave and Ike and DDD are all I need.

They usually seem to get them a day after everyone else though.
