I was at Avon. I arrived at 845 and was the second one there. We all stayed in our cars until 930ish when more people started arriving. I worked last night and made sure to bring warm clothes to change into afterwards. Even still, it was far too cold to stand outside for too long. And my feet were freezing, I forgot to bring extra socks. With MK, they had a decent amount, I'm pretty sure everyone got one (about 10 at open), but I honestly wasn't paying attention after I got mine. I went back to games section to see if there was a chance they had anything else not at the front desk. They only had MM and MK (and only 2 MMs) up front.

The one in Elyria had 1 Megaman (which I grabbed for a friend) and 4 Meta Knights. There was a small line forming the last 10 mins before 10am. Im glad me and the other 3 guys who where there first got them. No D3, Sonic or other Megamans on the shelves at all.

They kept redirecting phone calls to Parma which was supposed to have a good bit of MK so I doubt Parma had them longer then an hour or so.

Glad that it will be my last winter wait out for these things. lol
 
Talk about a successful haul... Best Buy shipped all these suckers in 3 separate packages, but they're all finally here!

Amusingly enough, they sent Sonic in a box that was slightly bigger than the box that Dedede, MK, and Ike came in. Little guy needed his leg room.

Sorry I haven't been around much guys.
Currently working and can't exactly Amiibo Hunt since I'm literally stuck where I am working. Thankfully I'll be back in March of course when Amiibo hunting dies down since I doubt we'll see much frenzy for Super Mario aside from toad. Though the exclusive Amiibo hunting should be intersting.

The UPS tracking said "delivered" but it wasn't at my door. I had to set out into the dark night to find my Meta Knights. Luckily I found them sitting at someone else's house and I snagged the box which was rightfully mine.

Man, there's always some sort of craziness going on here when it comes to getting our Amiibos safely.

At least you got them and the boxes don't seem messed up like mine =(

Kinda wanted Lucario but it went to a friend :( Haven't been able to find him since! Hopefully the next wave people will be more successful with obtaining their desired dudes due to the strike being over.

I am unsure of how to subscribe within the app using that link.
 
Meta Knight with those dirt textures makes it look like he just finished the most epic, violent and sanguinary battle of his life against Kirby. Looks rad.

So Port Strike Is Over.

When do they appear on amazon? I'd assume it would still be a couple weeks, even months, but would anyone even know? If I can get WFT, Falcon, LM, and Villager at MSRP I'd go for it, but would need to save my money for March if its any chance that they could appear in March. (And so on for each month since I don't like saving money lol.)

If there really are Amiibo on these things then I wouldn't expect alot of the rare ones but cool to see a "reprint". Atleast a chance.

Incoming: Tens of thousands more Peach's. Now that I have her I must say her Amiibo is quite nice but seriously.
 
Just wanted to shout out to amiibo Gaffer Alex Anderson for working out a Mega Man trade with me. Stand-up guy -- this thread can be really helpful for wading through the craziness that is amiibo collecting.

Since I've decided to focus just on specific characters near and dear to me, and I have a Ness locked down via a Game (UK) pre-order, this means that I am amiibo-set until Wave 5! All I have to do is pick up a few commons (Mario, Luigi, DK, maybe one of the Links) and I'll have all the amiibo my heart (and my work desk) desires.

Yeah I have had two shipped from them a Fox and MK...my Fox was just wtf smashed thankfully something intelligent packaged my MK or I would probably have screamed many obscenities.
 
Went to Walmart, GameStop, and target and came out with nada. Guy at Walmart said to call back tomorrow around 4 since he said they usually get amiibos on the afternoon shipment. I'll try that tomorrow.
 
Is Captain Falcon for Dedede a fair trade? I feel like I'm being taken advantage of. Who's getting the bigger end of the stick here?

DDD seems to be a rare out of this batch akin to a Captain Falcon, the Cap just was a couple waves ago. I'd say it's close from a "value" perspective.

Depends on how fast they can get truckers to get them off, get them to distributors and then distribute them to stores.

Couple weeks maybe if they started immediately I'd say.
 
I seriously doubt that we will see any of the previously/currently sold out characters come back in stock now that the port strike is over. But we can all dream.
