I'd say shulk was common for a day or two, all you had to do was walk into gamestop and put a web in store order for may

do the trade, i traded a lucario for a pit and dont regret it B^)

Point being, I don't even know if what people are posting is reasonable anymore. A rarity chart of graph would alleviate that, but who's to judge ultimately what's worth the most to least outside of eBay prices and perceived availability?

For the record, I do have NIB Pit, Mac, Falcon, and Fox and am a bit worried my Dedede and Ike from GameStop aren't going to come through after being delayed.

Edit: spyroflame0487, you share some of the same sentiments. I guess the individual satisfaction of a trade matters most anyway, as you say.

If you're set up for the pushbullet, which I am not signed up for but it seems to be working quite well, I'd just wait for a notification from there. I wouldn't waste time refreshing an Amazon page hoping for the best unless we actually know the exact date when the next wave will be released.

Please be informed that I live in Switzerland and this is the most expensive country to live in (see OECD etc.). The amiibo costs me like USD 22 and the postage will cost me even more (~probably like USD 30). So, still I have to pay like 50 bucks for this giveaway, hence I really want it to reach the right person.

This is truly great of you to offer this. Shulk is pretty rare in the US due to being a Gamestop exclusive, but I wonder how many people that really want Shulk would want to keep him sealed. And if that's the case, they may not have much interest in the EU version. I'm not sure scalpers would have much interest in the EU version either, so you might not have to wade through them.

I think if you can find someone that really wants him and would actually open him... there's your winner. You could also check the post count in this thread. If someone posts here a lot, they are probably pretty passionate about amiibos.
 
Thanks guys. I'll probably make the trade for Pit. At this point I really want him and it's not for certain he's actually being reprinted yet, just speculation.

Thats how i feel about it too. I know ima open and use the hell outta shulk if i get him ever, and use him for xenoblade chronicles 3D as well. However, i dont frequent this thread quite as often due to work.

He is gonna have to do some detective work or some sort of giveaway for him where its a contest and all
 
Got KingDedeDe, just Meta Knight, Shulk, Ike and Shulk left to complete all the waves. Live in Sweden, anyone has one of these for sale ;)
 
I have gotten notification from Gamestop about Ike, Dedede, and Sonic (all available tomorrow), but nothing about Mega Man. Is this consistent with anyone else who may have all four on order? I actually found Mega Man last week, so it's not that big of a deal... was just hoping that I would possibly have an extra for someone here that may need it.

EDIT: Omaha, NE. I now see the post right above mine seems to be a similar situation.

I don't know about other people, but I received a call from GameStop yesterday telling me my Sonic and Mega Man were available for pickup. Now GS usually texts me before all of my purchases are available, but for some reason I only got one for Sonic and not Mega Man. Might be worth it to call and see.

I don't think marth is going to become common even with a reprint. The current status of the three kirby amiibos shows Nintendo doesn't really give a shit about stocking amiibos with game functions well.
 
All these Mega Mans and Sonics going up gives me a glimmer of hope that maybe, someday D3 will again go up. Of course, I was sleeping when MM and Sonic went up and missed them (not that it matters, I don't even need them) so I'm sure I'll miss D3 when/if he goes up >.>
 
Just called the GameStop I pre-ordered Megaman, Sonic, Ike, and Dedede from. Still got nothing. Thought 3PM was a good time, but he said to call back in a few hours once all of their shipments have come in.

...But then I'd feel like that impatient kid who sits in the back seat going, "are we there yet, are we there yet, how about now?"

I mean, they projected Wednesday in the automated message, but seeing everyones yesterday got my hopes up that they'd have them today. Bleh.
 
I went to GameStop to pick up my preorder for Ike and they pulled out Sonic and DeDeDe!!

What a suprise!

I gave back Sonic as I had him already and the person looked so happy she said they get so many calls about these thjnfs!

Wave 3 complete!!!

Wave 4 preordered dokng good!

Off topic but I asked my cousin that works at a Target to locate a copy of their exclusive Big Hero 6 steel book blu ray since I don't live near one. He went in to work and his coworker said a guy came in and bought all the copies.

Fuck scalpers lol
 
So a while ago i got an email saying my frys order of Ike and Mega man was cancelled. As sad as I was I was able to find another Ike. I show up to my house after work and a package from Fry's is waiting for me. lo and behold i open it and Mega man is there! Im super happy! Now I just need to buy a Shulk and my top 3 will be secured!
 
I missed Mega Man due to work again? Well, I guess I gotta make some sacrifices. And quit my job.

At least Mega Man's more in-stock than I'd hoped, but I'm still afraid I won't get one.

If you want to do a give away for Shulk, make sure to look in the Canadian Amiibo thread as well! He's been even harder to find in Canada than the US; US Gamestop actually started blocking Canadian orders, so we weren't able to get him when he briefly reappeared there. Of course, EB Games hasn't restocked any of them, and he's even been delisted from their website. Just a tip!
 
Why is this thread on the third page while Canada and Europe amiibo are on the first? Preposterous!

Received this bad boy today. So cool. Wish there was a Zero or X variant.

I hate that I jumped on the amiibo train so late in the game. Back in November I was only intending to get characters that I don't already own figures of or had some mega-awesome use in a game. Ended up with Samus first, but then my fiance got me a ton of Wave 1 commons for Christmas, with a Shulk preorder being the straw that broke the camel's back....

...once Shulk came out that is. And now I am so behind, I feel like I'll never be able to keep up and go back and get all the rare ones without stabbing my wallet to death. Currently I have: Shulk, Yoshi, Sheik, Zelda, Link, Pikachu, Samus, DK, Diddy, with Sonic and Megaman on the way from Gamestop...

Worst is also there is a Meta-Knight available at a Best Buy like 90 miles from me...and the only person I know who could get it for me is my fiance's extremely conservative father who would probably judge me hard for it...ugh.
