They'll be instore on 3/20. But good luck with that. It'll probably look like Black Friday at Walmart on that day.

Wow, I didn't even think of this. I have the bundle preordered, so I'll leave my gold one in the packaging.
 
So, i ordered one quickly to realize that its getting shipped to my old address, i sent a message to walmart asking for it to get fixed, how screwed am i?
 
Somehow managed to get a gold mario order in, and that's *with* having to make a Walmart.com account.

It occurs to me I should make sure my bestbuy and target accounts are up to date with all the proper info.

I still really only care about getting Ness at non-scalper prices, and I'll do everything in my power to make that happen. (got a buddy who manages a TRU keeping an eye out for Wave 4 preorders)

I might be following the conversation wrong here. There is a Target in Jersey City (whose Amiibo stock is just the peg warmers as of last Thursday) and a Best Buy. There is a Walmart in Secaucus and one in Bayonne where I live though it's not like a super/regular Walmart (more supermarket-like) and the last time I was there in January there were like two Links and a Mario.

Preordered the Gold Mario online. I don't know what the Walmart by me is going to be like. I'll try to check at some point lol.

lol thats a good one , if you didn't get of hold of one i would head out to my local Walmart or call them right now to see if an in store pre order can be arranged get it while you can

I wish you luck , hopefully they will be organized enough to hand then out to everyone dedicated enough.You can bet that there will be camp outs at the 24HRs ones
 
damn you guys D-: making me regret not refreshing this page constantly! I have all the exclusive amiibos now but i didn't jump to this one because i literally live right next to a walmart (here in canada)
 
I have completely given up on just walking into a store even on release day. As people here have said, it's preorder or get there at 6 AM and wait. When I first started buying Amiibos it was fun to hunt around for Marth or WFT. That went out the window when Little Mac became impossible for me to find and the scalpers were buying things out of the cardboard boxes as employees were putting them on the shelves.

I'll import from Japan (I open them, so i don't care about the boxes) before I go to a store on release day. It's just a crazy headache.

Thanks, but I was able to preorder online, don't have to get anywhere near a Walmart on launch day, now. Lol.

I dont even want one, but all exclusives should just be color variants instead of characters though.

All I want is Ness and I'll be done with this shitshow.
 
I preordered a Gold Mario in time. I don't know why but I did. I said I wouldn't but I did. And now they're sold out. I guess I have valuable trade fodder now? Might just keep it too, I'm a sucker for owning rare things... :x

Do you seriously WANT it that bad because you like the look of it or something or just like mario or is it just because its rare (right now) that you want it? If its the latter, don't break that rule.
 
Guess I'm screwed for meta knight and gold mario. So busy that I can't keep up with all these...

If only Nintendo actually was a good company, I could just go and get them.

Whatever makes you happy. Don't get swept up in the moment though, this is the first time they have been up for order and buying a preorder from someone else never seems like a good idea.

I honestly want it bad enough. I really wish I wasn't making breakfast at the time - I've been sitting here refreshing for days trying to ensure I get the entire lineup...
 
Could someone post information on this LINE? I missed Gold Mario by a couple of seconds. I still have him 2 in my cart and its telling me to remove them :(
