I do wonder though.... NoA also crapped on us with Kid Icarus cards. Remember those? EU had them sold in stores (I believe), Club Nintendo prizes, AND a fancy binder w/checklist! I fear for Amiibo cards with that whole thing that happened. Only lucky NA people that made it to places like PAX got new Kid Ic boosters. Only way I got so many :/

Were those KI cards ever sold at any retailers? I have a few but could never seem to find any card out in the wild.

Not in NA. Everything were promos here, through Nintendo Power, Game Informer, Club Nintendo (only like 3 cards), and PAX/E3.

That was it. There were I think about 500 cards and TWO series of them.
 
I wonder if Nintendo will sell any Amiibos at pax east this friday

i remember getting kid icarus cards at pax east a few years back, thats the only place i've seen it

I wanted to collect them too but it seems NoA don't want my money. All I have are the cards that came with the game and the club Nintendo ones. Now I know how some people feels when they say this lol

Wow. How is that possible? This person needs to be reported to Wal-Mart. I thought they cancelled everyone that ordered more than 2?
 
Off topic, but funny thing about those Kid Icarus cards

My friend used to work for EBGames, so when I bought my Wii U from him, he ended up giving me a lot of extra shit with it. One of these things was a collection of Kid Icarus booster packs, about 98 or so unopened packs and 6 random cards. They're somewhere around here, I have no real use for them lol.

Unless he actually has his real name and/or Wal-Mart customer ID on his eBay page, I don't think it's realistic

I don't quite understand how the seller has that much to sell in the first place. Wal-Mart had a limit to 2 per account. The only way to bypass this is to order 2 on separate accounts. I find it hard believe that the seller made 50+ accounts in order to get that many.

It said "90 sold in the last hour" before and he has 22 left making it a total of 110+. Either the seller has his fingers crossed that Gold Mario amiibo's will fall from the sky or it's a scam.
 
eBay needs a damned rule where if they're selling a pre-order the seller needs to submit a receipt number to verify it.
Then if a company wants to file a complaint about re-selling, boom, they're out.
and if the receipt submitted was invalid/fake, boom, they're out again.

Either way, scalpers lose.

With that high of a seller rating, he's probably not a scammer. At least, he wasn't in the past and has been saving his score for this one big heist or something.

My odds are that he has some kind of insider relation to Wal-Mart and has the ability to bypass the usual means of pre-ordering an item.

ebay will never do that, they thrive BECAUSE of the scalpers, if they put more restrictions on selling then they lose revenue.

I've got a Japanese Ike coming from Amazon. Bought it and a 32gb micro SD card for my n3DS XL

Not sure what I'm doing about Rosalina.

Would love to have the complete set of Smash amiibo though. Could totally see myself raising them all to max level just for the fun of it.

Also wasn't there supposed to be more in the Super Mario line? I swear I saw something with more than just the five or six we're getting. It was probably some fake thing but whatever it was it looked cool

Also I'd love to get like 8 custom Mega Man done in the colors of Mega Man 2. MM3 is my favorite game but MM3 probably has my favorite color palette for weapons.
 
Pac-man, ness, and Lucina is all I really want from wave 4. I might get charizard too but I'm not thrilled with how he looks in the promotional images.

A lot of Diddys do, but I think that's thanks to the way his eyes are in his render. They only look correct on most of them if you look at Diddy from the angle that he's situated in his artwork.

At first I thought my Diddy was hysterically walleyed, but now I weirdly think he looks fine.

Went to gamestop on a whim today while out getting cosplay supplies. They had gotten in about 30 megaman's, 20 bowsers and had 2 sonic's left. Picked up a sonic and megaman and the guy behind the counter said that, "I may want to stop in early tomorrow, there's a new amiibo sku in their systems thats slated to release tomorrow".

So have fun with that.
