These Jojo stickers will be the death of me I swear. And now I want the freaking JoJo fighting game my friend has and showed to me dammit >.<

And I thought it was odd but fitting that Fry's had them (thats where I got my Pit from through a friend who happened to catch the guy bringing out a box of Pit) Its nice to not be constantly in high gear over the hunt, but between AA prep, thinking about if I'm going to do a cosplay outfit for my AA table and Fanime and just working on a new reel in general...I just haven't been able to invest as much time. Aot of the FB Amiibo groups had really turned me off recently (too many greedy people on there and just all around unpleasant) so I hobbled back to Amiibogaf XD

Any other weird stores in the US that just so happens to carry Amiibos? :o

Not sure if this backs that South African retailer listing, but still, maybe this is an indication certain clothing/weapons can be unlocked via specific amiibo (still holding out for FLUDD being unlocked via Mario & maybe Shadow Mario's paintbrush via Bowser Jr.).

im so excited for this. im going to pre order splatoon i want a copy as soon as it comes out. i doubt it will appeal enough to beat the CODs of our time but it looks great and creative.

Same here. I am hoping that it will live up to the hype. Curious how local multiplayer will work if the gamepad is used to jump to different places though?

did they update to allow local multiplayer? i thought it was nly online. i cant imagine they would give the player with the gamepad that advantage though. maybe for everyone else there will be a dedicated button that send you to a random new area?

Maybe it is just online? I was hoping for local multiplayer too though (even though I would think that it would change how it works)

I prefer people being in the same room as me so that I can stare them down after I destroy them.

Yeah...maybe you have to be on the same team and the person with the pad would be the leader and would be able to send people to certain locations (or everyone at once)???

Don't let the name fool you. It's a huge store and has a huge electronics department. They have stores in Omaha, Kansas City,and Des Moines. They are opening one in Dallas later this year and I'm pretty sure I read it's going to be the biggest furniture store in North America.

Also, Warren Buffet's company owns it, so that helps I'm sure.

i like local play and i think every game should have that option because one of the best ways to spread the popularity of things is word of mouth even with the internet, especially with kids in school, if one kid gets splatoon and invites their friends over to play, who knows maybe the whole class will be playing it soon.

yeah maybe its like how they had the earlier idea to have the touchpad person do one thing and the wiimote people do other things depending on their controller etc.

i mean one of the good things about local play too is not everyones going to have a wii u and you can still share those experiences with them without having one...with only online play everyone has to have one

I still don't understand why they aren't releasing the Mario amiibo like they are everywhere else. What if I didn't want the gold one? What if I didn't want to pay $60 for Mario Party 10?

It seems Nintendo intends for the golden mario to replace the regular mario in North America and if that is indeed the case, then it wont be a special edition at all, it may actually be common as others predicted and I may have been wrong saying it wouldn't be.

Yeah but Fire Emblem characters are already at higher productions costs at their current size.

The benefit of the Mario Party 10 Amiibos is that, while bigger, they're also not as demanding in terms of the little details.

I don't feel bad that I only got it to trade if it happens to be rare

If not it can be a cool NSMB2 homage for my collection

I think it's going to be attainable for people that want it early on. I doubt if this will be replacing a regular Mario and fully expect a standard Mario to hit the shelves shortly after this. If you don't get one at release or come along a few months later and want to get one, yeah, you'll probably have to hit up a eBay, but right away, I think they'll be easy enough to get.
 
After missing every single other time he went up by mere seconds and minutes i finally snagged one Goldie

I'd really like to get two, one to open and one to have in the box on my wall. Hopefully these guys will be real common and I can snag one or two more in the store.
