Wow that was quick, how Bluth do it?

EDIT : Saying "Get In Stock Alert" for me, so I assume that means they've run out again. I don't want one, just sharing the info.

See, and that all happened in the space of a bathroom break, that's why I'm so scared about Ness...

Eh, walmart's scraping the bottom of the barrel of their gold marios at this point, and Ness isn't retailer exclusive so you'll have multiple chances online from about a dozen sites.

isn't retail exclusive... yet.

Funny thing is Gold Mario will be Phantom exclusive here in Peru. My friend's independent store won't be getting any units, he'll be getting wave 4 though :D

If Wave 4 is like Wave 3 then if you're notified at least within a day, you should have a chance to get your preorder in, so long as you're buying from the right vendor.

Anyone who lives in the Indianapolis area and who needs Mega Man or Sonic, go to the Fry's on 96th. I just left and they have literally 14 Mega Man and 9 Sonic. Apparently, no one checks Fry's for Amiibos?

My Ness from Amazon UK has a delivery estimate of April 30th to May 8th.

I AM SO HYPE FOR MY NESS! I hope nothing goes wrong

I hate when you're so looking forward to get certain amiibo, especially when it's so rare, and when you finally have it, you literally can't even touch it because knowing how rare it is, it can help for trading purposes for another rare amiibo and that way you don't even get to enjoy them properly because Nintendo only creates 5 figures of the rare ones. FML.

Ness... Ness is going to be hell, it's already sold out in our hearths.

And that's why I buy 2

And that's why I buy 2
Unless you're a collector hell bent on getting EVERY Amiibo, is this entirely necessary? The one you expect to trade could be going to someone else who doesn't want to go through the trouble of trading. Just zone in on the Amiibo you want and that's it. If you can't get them at ESPR, eat the extra ten dollars.

I understand the desire to trade and the mentality that it's actually beneficial to the Amiibo community. But...you're just sort of adding to the problem.

Those folks who buy 2 for a family member or friend...eh, I'm a little iffy but I think that's slightly more excusable.

That's just how I feel.

It's not that I do it for trading I do it to keep one in box and the other for use. ( im on my phone in class. Can't really post a long conversation)

[Obligatory joke about how you missed it] but seriously, nothing new. Speculation that the pre-orders will go up after the MP10 Amiibos are released on 3/20.

Ah, damn. The wait to pre-order a Lucina and Robin is going to kill me. Once I have the Fire Emblem line on lockdown, I'll be happy.

Been away for all of today. Any update on Wave 4 pre-orders in USA?

YSkNTAx.gif

A few hours on Amazon UK when they went up the first week of February.
Definitively not "a few hours" for most of them. I missed the preorders by ~45min, and most of them where gone.

When the preorders went up on Amazon DE, Ness sold out in ~15min and half of the others in ~25min. UK probably wasn't better.

You got an Ike? I haven't managed one yet. Had to import Marth from Japan.

I pre-ordered Ike from GameStop, was delayed initially, but then arrived around the time he hit GameStop store shelves. Marth and Ike are still in their boxes sitting atop the rest on the Amiibo display shelf. Lucina is my must-have. Robin is like a supporting cast member to those three, I still want him to complete the Fire Emblem line, but Lucina is my main focus.

Well cool, with how quickly online pre-orders seem to disappear I thought for sure brick-and-mortar stores would run out even quicker, but it's good to know I may have a backup plan. I've never pre-ordered anything in my life but I almost didn't get a Marth and I'm not willing to miss out on Ness...

Oh man that sounds like a bummer, to not be able to enjoy them. I have Villager and Marth just thrown in a big box with all my other Amiibos and my Wii U controllers. I even let my two year old play with them. Her favorite is Donkey Kong :)

When are the SMB Series supposed to release? Coinciding with MP10, probably? I can't find a release date online. Thanks!

If you get to buy one, buy two of each instead. Problem solved!

Next Friday, March 20th (in NA, at least). Mario bundled with the game; Luigi, Peach, Toad, Yoshi, and Bowser standalone. Standalone Gold Mario as a WalMart exclusive. All on the same day!

And that's why I buy 2

Well I can certainly just buy two and problem solved but it should not be like that idk. And most stores limiting 1 amiibo per customer makes it difficult . Just hoping wave 4 doesn't become hard to go through like wave 3.

Our local Peruvian chain just confirmed they will be getting the Gold Mario amiibo... Let the amiibo games begin!

Are amiibos tough to get in Peru? It seems that other South American countries get them late, but I haven't necessarily heard of them being impossible to find once they do show up.

haha, someone is playing catch-up. Only a couple hundred more posts to go...!

Lol. I actually overlooked that post. I only noticed it when doing a search for posts that I were quoted in xD

Edit: Speaking of playing catchup, just realized I forgot to apply the changes I made to my avatar lol.

I can understand the feeling...

That being said, I had the opportunity to get a second Rosalina, decided against for similar reasons, and now I'm looking for a Shulk, and someone is willing to trade a Shulk for a Rosalina and I can't :/

Besides, with wave 4, I may get doubles just because I have a couple duplicates in preorders. I've been burned several times by cancelled preorders... Pretty sure I'm not the only one doing this, and indeed that doesn't help, but resorting to pay scalper prices later is worse.

Of course, I'll cancel the duplicate order when I receive the first one in good shape (I've did it for Megaman), but sometimes it's too late... It's usually not difficult to find them a good home, though.

(and yes, I try to go for a complete collection, but unfortunately, I'm missing Shulk and Dedede currently)

That ship to NA? Like where, for instance? Amazon is literally the only EU store I've been checking.
That's a good question, actually. I tried a couple of them, and indeed that's a problem. In fact, Amazon.de not shipping to the USA is news for me (I've found an article about this new policy introduced with wave 4, there weren't such a limitation before).

I expected websites like Conrad.de to ship worldwide, but when I try, I find all countries including UAE, Belize, Japan, Chile, etc. but not USA and Canada.

So it may be trickier than I thought. Someone in Europe can probably help you, though, if you're out of ideas (and hope). I fact, I would offer you to do this, but I probably can't in an immediate future. But if you're still after a solution in a week or two, send me a PM (not sure about the shipping costs, though).

No no no. I bought extra Rosalina's because I knew there would be ones I wouldn't be able to get, and what do you know, I can't for the life of me find a King DeDeDe. And someone else couldn't find a Rosalina. However, he had an extra D3, hence we traded. Don't try and make up morality with this, your argument is b.s. By me trading I added to no "problem," and if anything I helped myself and one other person. And if I buy one for a friend, that slightly gets a "pass" by you? Give me a break.

I'm not too worried about finding the ones I want, and there aren't any that I "can't live without" other than Ness. Thanks for the info though, appreciated.

Same as the US, you got the commons, the rares and the unicorns. They restocked some from wave 3 but all you find now is Bowser, Toon Link and Sheik (besides Mario, Kirby, Pikachu, DK and the other common amiibos).
