Yup, I saw that too, and like you, I slept through it. I imported one from Germany that came in the mail yesterday as well, so I'm almost glad I slept through it...still justifies my purchase.

Ah, I misunderstood how this thread was, thought maybe the place had international shipping...which I'd have gladly paid since the Meta-Knight was at shelf-price. Damn that really got my hopes up.
Yeah, I was hopping it would work like Amazon uk. Even in pounds, that price for a Meta-Knight is a steal versus scalper ebay prices.

Hey, would anyone like to trade their Ike for a Dedede, or sell at MSRP? I tried checking the trade thread, but it seems a bit slower there, unfortunately. I'm located in the US, if anyone wants to help.
GameStop outright canceled the two I had ordered back in December through their ship-to-home orders, and I needed them for my brother and a friend. So, at least one would be better than nothing.

Btw, forgot to mention: my Dedede is US, and I don't care what region Ike comes from; the box is irrelevant. Hell, as long as it's in good shape and ships safely, out-of-box is perfectly fine by me. Please let me know if you're willing to help. Thank you.

Alts as Amiibos are coming, I firmly believe it. If only for the characters with different chars as alts like Robin, Koopalings, Villager and Olimar. Super easy way for Nintendo to convince people they have to buy the exact same product again.

I hate to say it, but I'll take alts like those over what is typically done for toy alts like straight repaints, "crystal" colors, etc. It's why I don't really care for the gold and silver Mario amiibos.
At least a Robin or Koopaling alt would involve a partly new sculpt.

I know it's not much but I have a spare Toon Link NIB amiibo that I would love to give away to a Gaffer that wants to provide a nice home for him. I will pay for shipping, as well! I'd love to give back to the community that has helped me out so much. I really appreciate you guys.

Any Gaffer that can predict the EXACT date that ANY MAJOR RETAILER (i'm talking Amazon, TRU, BB, GS, Target, Walmart, Fry's) will post the FIRST pre-orders of Wave 4 amiibos in the USA will be entered into the raffle to receive my Toon Link!
(Not including Newegg or FYE, sorry..)
To sum it up: if you guess the exact day wave 4 preorders are finally going to be up for grabs in the U.S then you enter the raffle. You don't have to guess the retailer that will do it first, just the date, and that counts towards every retailer.
And if any other Gaffers decide to join in on this that would make this an amazing event.
I'm only shipping domestic but if some Gaffers that want to join in on the Amiiboway (yep, I've just found a name for this) you may ship wherever you like!
