Doesn't sound like it's Nintendo being "too dumb". The demand is just much, much higher here than in our territories. Combined with the fact the port strike caused massive delays.

I guess "dumb" isn't the right word. More like their supply chain and manufacturing are not as responsive to sudden changes in their forecast demand.

And the port strike should be a non-issue at this point. If they mishandle wave 4, then they have no excuse.

Ordered it yesterday around 12 noon..just happened to glance over at Walmart's site and saw it was available and went for it..The Toad Amiibo order I placed last week shows March 27th I dont mind waiting for the Gold Amiibo just wanted to be sure nothing was up since yesterday it showed March 23rd and today it shows the 24th

It is just out of the norm for Amiibos, a restock like that would last minutes on Amazon JPN, so for it to be up for about 12 hours now with more pre-orders incoming it just seems odd.

I hate to be negative...be careful with yesasia. If those preorders don't pop they often will only give store credit, They don't always return your money.
