Spike, Toadette, Waluigi, & Daisy. Those characters don't have an Amiibo yet.

Wave 2 would be Wario, Donkey Kong, Rosalina, Daisy, Waluigi, Toadette, Spike, and Dry Bowser.
Wario, Rosalina, and Donkey Kong are the only remaining characters on the Amiibo screen within the game. They could always add more, but if you go to the Amiibo game mode it only shows Mario, Toad, Luigi, Bowser, Peach, Yoshi, Wario, Rosalina, and DK.
I see the Super Mario Series serving as the go to amiibos for the entire mario franchise in which they can produce in abundance to supply not just Mario Party 10 but all future Mario titles.
Mario Party was a great way to start the series up since most of the main characters in the Mario universe will recieve thier own figure.They can always give them some use for any future title.
Fixed. It's obvious that they're only making figures that have Amiibo boards, as the final retail copies show.

This. There's a reason it's the "Super Mario" series and not the "Mario Party" series. Mario Party is just the first major game built specifically to support them, and was convenient to launch alongside. It's definitely going to be on-going series with on-going support.
Odds are the support is already there for Daisy, Waluigi, Toadette, and Spike, it's just not listed in-game yet for obvious reasons.

That's only because the Smash Bros. amiibos are also compatible with Mario Party 10, so they already had their boards developed with that in mind. The other characters will probably have their boards added in a future update.
Why would they as they don't have amiibo? If they get amiibo later which is highly probably, I can see some update adding that in
It wouldn't surprise me that someone could go and find some data on the Mario Party 10 disk to see if there are boards for the remaining characters.

I think they're playing the long game with the SMB line. Whether or not they plan to support more amiibo in Mario Party 10 remains to be seen. I am confident Waluigi, Daisy etc. will get their own amiibo at some point though.

I agree. A key difference between the new Super Mario line and the SSB4 line is the fact that the Super Mario line has a very general card, whereas the Smash one made note that it was Super Smash Brothers. The Super Mario cards no where on them say "Party" and I think Nintendo's intention is to make it their main line usable for Mario Party first, maybe a new Mario platformer, and whatever else they can think of (probably not a new Mario Kart, but this would have been great for it). This is just speculation and who knows what could happen though, they could go a totally different direction in the coming months.
Looking a few posts up, I see I just restated what was already said, lol

All the Super Mario line Amiibos are different poses from the Smash versions.
i ordered a wii fit trainer from amazon.it that was scheduled to arrive on the 13th. It still isn't hereand amazon.it offers NO TRACKING for the order I made...
I'll give it a couple more days before I contact support I guess
It took almost a month past the scheduled arrival date for my Rosalina and Lucario from Amazon.fr - just as a benchmark so you don't worry

I was hoping they'd do Kart amiibo to begin with in the spring, before the Smash line. Not even all the characters, just the main ones, to test the amiibo thirst. THEN release the Smash line, with a better understanding of demand.
Might not have happned that way, but it's so crazy right now, any other distribution method I could see as being better.

If you mean, "Oh jeez, I thought the super mario line would just be re-releases of the smash line:" Nope. Every single one is gonna be a different pose.

It was pretty darn stressful, I won't lie. Even broke down and contacted support after like 20+ days. Used Google Translate to go from Eng>French and back again with each reply. Support wasn't able to help me because there is apparently like a month window after the scheduled delivery that they gotta wait for before doing the whole refund dance. Package came in like a week later.

I live in a smaller town with few gamers and the Walmart here never changes up its 10 amiibos on the shelf. If I find a gold one I'll nab it and list it here since I already have one paid from the web preorder.

I also got my Rosalina from Amazon.fr and it took a couple of weeks, but she made it to Chicago in perfect condition. I used Amazon.fr to get my New Nintendo 3DS and some cover plates and they were great. I wouldn't worry too much about the Italian version of Amazon. Oooh, my Best Buy order of Peach, Yoshi, Bowser, Luigi went from "Payment Validated" to "Preparing Order" in the last day or so.
Doesn't seem to ship anywhere outside of Canada.
Sucks for us Euro's who are still waiting for it to be announced. D:
