Ah no biggie, that's just money saved in my book.

All I really want is the Fire Emblem characters and Pac-Man from wave 4, and probably Zero Suit Samus and then I'm done with this game.

until Zelda comes out and Nintendo pulls you back in

or until FExSMT comes out ... and Nintendo pulls you back in

Soon as I heard, I preordered, and sent it to my friend in Ontario

And now I am all set.

Stopped by Target on my way home and saw three Toads on the floor. Tried to buy one but it was street dated for Friday, oh well. Got their last copy of Lego City Undercover instead.

What do you mean? I have used Paypal to preorder items from GameStop before, and the money is removed from my account when it is shipped. It shows as pending transaction until it is shipped.

What I mean is, they have already taken money from my account for something releasing at the end of May.

Just confirmed my preorders in store at EB Games for all of Wave 1 of the SMB series and the MP10+Mario bundle.

Got Gold Mario with Amazon Canada and Wal Mart USA.

Good to go!

Will be at EB at 8:30am on Friday for when they open early at 9am. Make sure I can choose from all the ones they have in case of non mint ones with bent boxes or marks/crappy painting on the Amiibo.

I just got an email confirmation that my Mario Party 10 Bundle & the Luigi Amiibo will be arriving on the day that Mario Party 10 is released.

Also, I have changed my Captain Toad avatar to something a bit more....bouncy.

Go grab one and hide it in a tire or a bag of luggage or something. Then go pick it up at your leisure on Friday

He should hide it in a tackle box, then put that tackle box in the clearance aisle under a pile of toys. It'll stay safe until Friday.

Unless an employee straightens out the clearance aisle or someone thinks the tackle box is on clearance and tries to buy it or wants a price check.

Best way to make sure it doesn't move is to put it in a Wii U box (just joking...I love my Wii U regardless if the system sells much or not)

The clearance aisle is where things go to not get sold in a Walmart, from what I've noticed at my own store. Especially if you hide the tackle box under a pile of toys, as I said. Preferably toys from a kids movie released more than a year ago.

And the employees only straighten out the clearance aisle once every six months or so. There's no worry of that happening by Friday.

Bouncy is certainly a good way to describe it haha.

So for everyone getting a gold Mario, are you planning on opening it or keeping it in the box? If I manage to get one I think it may be the one amiibo I keep in the box since it seems like it will be a cool collectible to have

I have the regular Mario SMB Amiibo from Mario Party 10, so the Gold Mario stays in the box.

Keeping mine in the box since I ordered the Mario Amiibo version of Mario Party. If I end up with an extra I will open it.

Second order of SMB amiibo arrived. Still only a couple of each to go around. Plenty of bundles still. Waiting to see what's going on with the Meta Knight sitting in the warehouse.

The YesAsia preorders are still up. Disgusting. Looks like I'll have to open a PayPal dispute in a couple months. =/

Best Buy shipped all of my Super Mario amiibos. :D Will picking up the Mario Party 10 bundle in-store alongside Fossil Fighters: Frontier. Hoping Walmart ships out my Gold Marios soon...

Craigslist deal from last week fell through, but I made a similar trade online. Swapping Chrono Trigger on SNES (loose) for Sealed NA: Shulk, Marth, and Meta Knight. Got tracking #s for them today. Very amped to add these to my small but growing collection.

The perception of gold Mario being a collectible will result in so few opened ones that the opened gold Mario will be the true unicorn and anyone financially content enough to toss the box saying, "future value be damned" will be the true envy of amiibo collectors!

He says in jest?

My Amiibo addiction caused me to pick up some Disney Infinity figures. I now have Rocket Racoon, Groot and Jack Skellington.

At least there doesn't seem to be any super rare Disney Infinity figures, if they were made by Nintendo I'm sure Rocket Racoon and Groot would be unicorns.

That's the thing about DI figures. They shoved so much money into it that there's technically no rares except for certain members of The Incredibles.

Now go get Stitch and Venom.

You traded away an SNES copy of Chrono Trigger? That game is a piece of my childhood and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I feel like you're going to regret this one.
