Not sure why he would be timed, although the Nintendo World Store is getting him along with the rest of the Wave 3 exclusives tomorrow.

The official Nintendo Amiibo site has gold Mario listed as "Exclusively at Walmart at launch". Take that for what you will.
I want to say the same thing was said about another amiibo. Was it Metaknight? But I could be wrong.

All the exclusives say that. It could change (unlikely) but for now I think it is so they can sell them at Nintendo World store in NYC too
Bullshit if mine doesn't get it. I asked the guy and he said they were expecting it but it hadn't come yet so I'm hoping tonight. He said shipment is coming.
I think all exclusives had that wording in the Nintendo amiibo site.

GS does it with Skylanders and Infinity stuff, so it's not that surprising that they would do it for amiibos, too, if this is legit.
It's literally a $1 less than retail. Instances like Xenoblade and Metroid are actually very rare things.

Has to be a joke no way that would happen at any GS. The employees would buy and resell on ebay before they put on the shelf.

I placed my order on March 16th(Not sure if this makes any difference) and my order still says:
Arrives by Tue, Mar 24 but has NOT shipped
I haven't really paid attention to be honest. Are most of them higher than MSRP or only a select few?

Stores should have received shipment no later than 7 PM. If they don't have them now, they ain't getting them.

In all honesty, I felt so relieved when I was able to order my Meta Knight & King Dedede Amiibo when they were first available on Ami-Ami, as I figured NOA would have skimped out with keeping those two in-stock.$10.79 for an opened Shulk? Would do in a damn heartbeat.
