Nice! Mine shipped from Indianapolis as well, I belive that is where the main distribution centre for online Wal Mart orders is.

Tracking just updated to arrive on Wednesday instead of Thursday now. It's a 5 hour drive away from it's destination so I hope it arrives even sooner.

It seems to have been handed off from FedEx to USPS now. Weird.
 
If Gold Mario is rare I think I'm keeping it sealed. I thought about trading it, but anything rare I could just buy.

I'm probably the only person who loved gold Mario in NSMB2 and NSMB2 the game itself. I bought a lot of DLC just for more levels to fool around with.

I'm ready for Wave 4 preorders now. Pretty much not going anywhere this weekend because of basketball and I have off Monday too. Gotta be soon right?

Also mine shipped from Indianapolis too and since I live in northwest Indiana it only takes stuff a day or two from there to get to me. So hoping by Monday/Tuesday gold Mario will be mine.

This is by far unexceptional. Despite all the pics, the only purchased one I've seen out of his box is from the guy who used him in MP10, and that wasn't even from this community.
 
Yeah, I'm probably going to keep my Gold Mario sealed too. It's really the only one I personally see and bought as a "collector's item", and considering that I already have a Smash Mario I have no need for its functionality anyway.

Ah I see. I didn't know if they had multiple centers or not, so I figured i'd mention where mine was coming from in case some people are getting antsy!

Yep, it's disappointing after some of the great looking ones in the last smash wave, like dedede or Bowser.

I picked the best out of the 8 they had.

Yep, like the Spanish Rosalinda or Rosario. Contrarily, I shorten it to Roz like Monsters, Inc. Never been a fan of "Rosie," myself.
 
Is Cedar Rapids the go to place for rare amiibos? I was looking up random rare amiibos one day on brickseek for Target. I never actually checked because I live in Omaha, but Cedar Rapids kept popping up as having some "in stock". This was back around the time Wave 2 was finishing up.

I think this is correct. I know for sure my Captain Falcon, King Dedede, and Toon Link had multiple languages on the packaging.

So many people have never seen WFT that they don't know that the NA version had a translation of its name in 3 different languages. It's the same with villager and captain falcon.
 
went to toys r us for the metro redux deal on ps4,saw a table full of mario party amiibos. They seem to be much less popular.

Also their shelves were packed with common figures.. IDK how they're making room for wave 4,5 etc.

I think those waves will come in very very limited quantities because many retailers are already stuffed full of common stock.
 
There is something like 1000 gold mario amiibo on ebay right now, and the lowest price is still $54. Kind of crazy and much higher than even I expected, considering I was saying it would be rare all along. But still...

Toad is equivalent to Sonic/Shiek if that. It is also widely available. Maybe a cash deal with someone who can't find one in their area at best.

Yup, so glad I wasn't able to pre-order him online. Last night at Toys R Us they had at least 12 Toads and it took a while to find a good quality one. I literally spend a good 15 minutes looking at each one before I picked one lol
 
I normally don't care a ton about the paint jobs on my amiibos but, man, my Yoshi and Toad SMB ones look like crap! Bowser isn't that great either. Peach, Luigi, and Mario are fine.
 
You guys are really worrying me about my Toad order. I guess I could hunt for a good looking one and return the one I get if the paint job is bad, but that seems like a crappy thing to do so I probably won't.

That's like me with every Amiibo I ever bought. I make sure to get to places when they open to make sure I have my pick. Even multiple places if needed. If I have preorders at EB I will make sure to go when they open to choose as well.

I went to 3 different retailers over the course of 2.5 hours getting my SMB Amiibo and MP10 bundle yesterday. Gold Mario is a gamble as it is coming via Wal Mart USA. Hoping for the best.
