Mighty Ape took fucking forever to put them up. Thankfully I already ordered a Lucina and Robin for myself from EB a month ago but they sold out from both JB and MA so fast I couldn't get a pair for my friend's birthday.
Also Lucina and Robin sold out before Ness, just like EB. Looking like Ness the third rarest in the wave.
Btw Mighty Ape will probably have a few back in stock on the 24th. They get order cancellations because people put down big pre orders they don't follow through on.
But it's fun to see people in NA realize how much we have to pay for amiibo
I know right, Mighty Ape have been so slow with Amiibo.
I also already preordered from EB NZ. JB NZ took all Amiibo offline after Wave 2 (no idea why) so there's only in-store preorders there but they have been up nearly as long as EB.

So preordered that Gold Mario back in February and I am still waiting for it because FedEx handed it off to USPS who missorted it and it went to the wrong facility across town.
Then I see I can pick one up in another town. I get the order placed successfully, then I see I was refunded and the pick up was cancelled. Fun.

Yeah packaging is the only difference. All amiibo's themselves are 100% identical.

Any reason you haven't just imported them yet? They're still going for MSRP in most countries, they're cheaper too so you're probably just paying a extra for shipping and exchange rate.

Play-Asia charges $18 per so no savings there, but then it's $16 in shipping. Amazon.de charges similar.
Don't want to pay that much extra if they're common ones that will surely be restocked here eventually.
Ozgameshop that would have cheap shipping hasn't had any Luigi in stock for months (I'm subscribed for restock emails for him).
If you group them together it'll lower on shipping costs. Wait for an Amazon to have both in stock, just shipping one is pretty pricey but if it's multiple it drops the average.
Weak AUD is what really kills it, I'm surprised JB are still charging $17. You could get Luigi at least from NZ but you're essentially paying NZ retail prices with how weak the AUD is.

Australia is pretty bad at selling amiibo online. There was no shortage of pre-orders though.
I didn't pre-order Ike and still haven't found him for a reasonable price.

Day 4? Still no Gold Mario. It said delivered yesterday, never entered an "out for delivery" status, and was at the "destination" since monday. I think tomorrow I will contact Walmart and see what they can do, but I think it is just going to be a refund at the most... I wanted the damn Gold Mario. Sigh.
