Ugh! Hate exclusives, and scarce stock. I'm going to finish off the Smash collection, and be done with it. Having to hunt down, and waste time, and money looking around for these stopped being fun a while ago.

Mewtwo I'd like to get. Pretty much all of June's wave (Not sure about palutena though...), and maybe yarn yoshi amiibo.

What I will say though, as while I was expecting this, I think the direction amiibo is going in will not do it good. The appeal for amiibo for me at the beginning was that one amiibo could work across a selection of games, and while that is still true somewhat, it feels they're making new amiibos to work for specific titles only. Like I would like the normal yoshi amiibo to work for yarn yoshi, but bet he won't.
 
Guess GameStop will get money from me then if I manage to get all of them.

So I think the Direct just broke my amiibo craze (kind of). I felt it waning, but that was definitely enough to finish it off. There's so many, and we don't know a thing about 90% of them. I'm still interested in chasing down Villager, and Robin+Lucina will still be mine. But the new ones upcoming? It's just way too many in such a short amount of time. Three months ago I'd be excited for everyone in the new waves. Now? I see Olimar. He'll be enough.

And what's the deal with the Splatoon Squid being only a part of a three-pack? I like all three, but knowing that you have to get that big, ugly pack is just... It's not cool for how I collect them -- each box on its own, set up to look all nice.

Edit: And now that I see the picture above, I think I can safely say I'm screwed. I'll be at the dentist at 2PM CST.

Guess I better start asking now: anybody who lands an extra Lucina/Robin pre-order, I'm probably interested. Will know for sure tomorrow after seeing if I can get some pre-orders of my own.
 
I hope Nintendo going this deep into amiibos means the stock issues are done.

I have zero interest in camping outside at 6am or hunting multiple stores. If they have to do exclusives, gamestop is the best probably.
 
Web in Store only then? Damn it! I hope I get off work in time.

I might have to get my sister to do that for me though...She ain't gonna be happy though...

web in store might be tougher tbh, cause once it sells out, thats it, its not like a store has a select number, its basically a number for every gamestop, like it happened during the majoras mask 3DS XL
it sold out while we were doing an order

hope its different though
