I'm not sure if everyone knew or not, but these double pack guys should be starting to filter into stores. I know GS will definitely have them on the 9th as they're advertised for their Skylander Day deals.

I thought the Skylander amiibos were only $24.99 each, the price was on an old Gamestop ad.
I'm tempted to get the two in a BOGO 40% off deal, I like the unorthodox amiibos like 8-Bit Mario and Yarn Yoshi.

Those could be from TRU where everything is more expensive.

I only just got the game on sale for the xb1 and love it. Definitely want an amiibo now. Glad it's supposed to be well stocked.
I don't suppose anyone here happens to know what the amiibo item numbers for Hammer Slam Bowser, Dark Hammer Slam Bowser, Turbo Charge Donkey Kong, Dark Turbo Charge Donkey Kong, and Mega Man - Gold Edition are? I'm guessing the Skylanders amiibo might be ADAA through ADAD, and Mega Man may be AGAA, but that's pure speculation on my part. The Skylanders amiibo don't have the item numbers on the bottom of the base like normal amiibo do, and the only other places I know where to find it are either on the Japanese amiibo website (the item number is in the URL of the amiibo's page) or the CPSIA documents, neither of which the Skylanders amiibo have. And the same goes for Mega Man - Gold Edition, but that one's not even released yet, so I guess we'll have the item number for it once it releases.
Anyway, I'm wondering because I keep a list of all amiibo by item number, and it's how I organize my personal amiibo collection as well (well, somewhat—it was how I ordered my entire collection initially, but I had to change up the Smash Bros. series to a different order when I got my display stands due to certain characters not wanting to fit up next to each other very well, lol). Here's the list, for anyone who's interested:
Cloud, Corrin, and Bayonetta's item numbers haven't been confirmed yet, but the item numbers for Smash Bros. DLC characters have followed the same pattern so far, so I've listed them anyway. Additionally, we know that there will be at least four more Animal Crossing amiibo with the items numbers AJAN through AJAR, which are almost certainly the leaked Rover, Kapp'n, and Timmy & Tommy Nook amiibo, plus an unknown fourth amiibo (my guess is a second Isabelle amiibo in her summer clothes, since it's the only other Animal Crossing Mystery Mushroom costume in Super Mario Maker that doesn't have an amiibo figure associated with it).

For all you UK people waiting for the Shovel Knight amiibo, looks like they finally got through customs to us!
So I know Skymiibo aren't as talked about, but does the community have any solid numbers for the stand alone 2 packs?
I went Amiibo hunting yesterday, 2 days after the January 4 street date, and I was only able to find a Donkey Kong 2 pack hiding among other Skylanders at TRU. I went to 3 Walmarts, 3 Best Buys, 2 Targets, 2 Gamestops, and 2 TRU.
I'm happy I have DK (I still don't have the Smash one, so this acts as a nice holdover) but I'm bummed at the lack of Skymiibo.
Did I miss the boat on them already or is stock still getting out there? In Southern California for reference.

Might try for Shovel Knight at my Meijer considering they came through for me at midnight for Ganondorf, 8-bit Mario, etc. Haven't pre-ordered & originally thought he was coming out on the 22nd with Lucas & M&L Paper Jam.

Shovel Knight would be fucking rad in Super Mario Maker. I know some people wanted to see him in Smash, but Mario Maker is a better (and personally cooler) place for him to be.
Speaking of which, I'm debating a repeat of Wave 4 and waiting outside my local Best Buy at 5 am. It's raining this time around though, so maybe I can get away with going later.

As usual, please check the first post for all current and upcoming amiibo releases. They aren't really that hard to get anymore, but Shovel Knight numbers seem pretty low. Don't take any chances on him.

To.... say something positive... about Diggeh................ the OP is really great. And almost always current. If there is one thing that could make it better, but it probably wouldn't be that feasible, it would be a date-stamp when preorders first go up, so when someone asks "has Shovel Knight gone up?" they can refer to the OP and see "why, yes, it went up for Preorder on 12/10 at Best Buy and 11/27 at Amazon" or whatever.

I always check the first page of this thread for updates. It's literally my cheat sheet for Amiibo information. That said, it has no information with respect to preorders, prerelease rarity, regional differences, or vendor differences. Instead of combing through pages and pages of information about Shovel Knight, Animal Crossing, etc., I was just trying to get my finger on the pulse of Lucas's release - is he going to be rare? Has he went up anywhere in NA? What about on Amazon.de, .it, .fr, or .co.uk? Perhaps I should have been more specific, but I was looking for general input from posters beyond the OT's infographic, which has release schedule only. As we've seen with Amiibo releases in the past, just sticking the release date on my calendar isn't enough to ensure a purchase.
Speaking of which, I see that the Wolf Link/Midna Amiibo is getting a release separate from the game bundle. Is this specific to a particular region? I know bundled Amiibos have had varying availability as separate SKUs in NA.

Lucas is available for preorder currently on the best buy website, but only for in store pickup. I'm not sure about others, but he's only in one local store that's way too far out for my liking. Hopefully he'll become available for shipping as we near release date.
SK is having just an issue, that I don't buy the "there will be enough for everyone" bot. Maybe they mean eventually, but it comes out in 2 days and the preźorders aren't "real" :/ Sure hope BBuy honors mine, I don't want to go out Friday.

Thanks for the input guys! The OT is already super stuffed, so I'm not quite sure how I'd handle adding all of those extra items, but I'm always open to suggestions. Might be time to reformat it a bit.
Also the other region OTs should have their own info but they're rather behind. UK/EU is still at Wave 4 and Canada just links to places to buy them. I provide links to each in the OT for easier access as well.
Make a new ot and reserve the second post real quick! (Get mod permission first). We've been trapped in this one for way too long!
