Don't think they will. They didn't cancel the guy that managed to get the entire wave 4 when they were putting it up. So that gives me hope. Im willing to make the drive since it's not far away. Wouldn't feel bad if that's all I miss. I can always import, or wait for prices to go down.

@Lee she's supposed to be put up online on the 29. So theirs still a chance.

I strongly suggest getting Silver Mario on Amazon. Worst case cancel it or trade it or give it away but chances of everybody getting silver mario from Target when it appears to be an error is unlikely at best.

yeah cause with jigglypuff it had the same status but this Target rep said that they literally have ZERO in their fulfillment center so isnt that a bad sign

My jiggly said back ordered, and was shipped yesterday. It could turn out entirely different, but I wouldn't worry too much for now. Still, I'll jump on the Amazon silver Mario just to be safe. I can cancel, or trade it without too much issue. The Amiibo life.

Nope, I checked out as a guest (which is weird as I used the same email as my actual account in my rush to get it ordered) and the "backordered" screen they're talking about it nowhere to be found, only the little pic everyone's posting.

I've actually straight ignored Gold and silver mario as I already have a smb and smash one. Gold mario I associate with what I think is one of the weakest mario titles and if they actually called silver metal instead I might buy it because I'm weird like that.

Old news. If it ships, it ships. I'm not too worried about being able to find one of these. Although I doubt 1 employee knows everything about every fulfillment center and possible restocks.

Target: A bit better. Seems they're getting around "4 each", though the employee said he's not suppose to "officially" say, but Jigglypuff should hopefully be well stocked, considering he mentioned "around 12".

Meijer: Already in, but I have to wait until Friday. I should be taking my sis to school around 7 a.m., so that's most likely going to be my best bet, as Target opens up at 8 a.m., but it's on the other end of town.

oh no.... i just checked my best buy pre-order and only Pac-Man is showing as preparing order... the rest say status not available... i have a pre-order for all 5 best buy has and I made the order within a minute of them going live on best buy...... please don't screw me best buy. PLEASE.

I have 2x Splatoon 3-pack and the 5 non-exclusive amiibos on pre-order with Best Buy and they've all displayed "status not available" for the past week. I wouldn't worry just yet.
