Yep, governments of the world are seeing birth rates, relationships, divorces, settlements, domestic abuse, mental health issues, financial management etc all as problematic, and getting worse, for our historic societal "norms". The most recent generations are generally raised within systems built for sheep. It's a stark contrast to running life with a partner or a family; building one or finding one. Parenting needs to step up at home first, sadly it's heading the other way at home all too often.

Most people have little to no savings and live paycheck to paycheck or pretty close to it. There's also the fact that the world is increasingly catering to people who actually DO have money.
COVID taught a lot of industries (tech, automotive, homebuilders, etc.) that they can make more money by focusing more or almost exclusively on the high end. Ford in particular has basically raised its middle finger to normal middle class consumers. They are focusing entirely on the ~30% of Americans who can afford $60k+ trucks.
