My code finally worked. Didn't do anything fancy. I just tried again on PSN store.
I got my Bayonetta code working by redeeming online in SEN if that helps anybody. This happen an hour ago.
I'll make sure we get you there, don't worry. Keep checking back each hour and see if it works, then update me via PM!I cannot seriously be the only one whose codes still don't work.
Probably elemental attack affinity. I'm not sure what dictates you getting them but yesterday when practicing offline I'd get it during combo finishers if I had a streak going. There's something I haven't been able to intuit yet, what's the blue aura flash your character sometimes gets? I think it has something to do with blocking stamina recovery?

Thanks for the pro-tips!This is a good time to practice some fighting game fundamentals!
- You can break out of throws by pressing the throw button with the right timing right as they're reaching out for you. I haven't practiced the exact timing much yet, but if you know the other guy's going to try and throw you as you're getting up, can't hurt to try hitting Throw right back at him.
- Holding Y (Triangle) activates your charge attack, which has super armor ("blocks" enemy attacks) IIRC. That's one way to block and punish, but you can also escape out of combos using your 360 Attack (Square+X, or X+A). It takes a chunk of your life unless you equip a skill that removes the penalty, and it can be punished hard if your opponent blocks/dodges it, but you're completely invincible until as (maybe just after?) the move hits.
- If you mean "two or more guys smacking my body around at the same time," then doing a 360 Attack, like in any combo, will knock 'em back.
aaaaaa my Bayo code finally worked :'D
I'll try before I leave for work. Do I put the code in as is, or is there something special I should do with it?
Which character is good for a beginner and has a nice fast speed to him? Leo looks to fit this bill.
They're trying to recreate the Samurai Showdown button mashing! Let's just hope it's not really random (though that'd probably be "fairest" for online play).I used to think Platinum knew good game design. Then they put in shitty button mash QTEs for single player that makes you start all the way over
Even Bayonetta had those annoying cutscene QTEs that did the same.I used to think Platinum knew good game design. Then they put in shitty button mash QTEs for single player that makes you start all the way over
DLC is already live in the uk.Maybe it'll go live Friday when Europe joins the party.

What determines which perk you unlock for getting 100 kills outside of the events in the campaign? Is there one perk per level or what?
yeah
One 100 kill perk and 5 blue concept art safes per level on each side I believe
and the perk is always the same.
Cage match is fun.
Don't you dare 360 spam or I will infinite you lol
Is there a list of which perks are for which levels? Because I don't want to try to remember which ones I've already gotten.
It should be there, look under the barcode. If it really isn't there, take it up with GameStop. Is the dlc code provided in the game case? I preordered at eb games but I don't see any code on the receipt

I spoke with them when I picked it up and they told me they didn't receive the code and that it could be in the case. Thanks though.
Yep I can go check at another store since its relatively close. I thought pre orders were handled differently though from store to store? I'll give it a shot though so thanks for the help! They're idiots. That can't be right. I'm not 100% positive how it works now, but when I worked there a little over a year ago there was either a number we could punch/scan in to have the printer produce a code on the receipt after purchase. That or it would be handled automatically.
Some codes would come on a specific paper slip that we would receive in a bundle that would be handed out at purchase. That however is not the case here.
Do you have another gamestop you can talk to/talk to the manager at the store?

How do you put your weapon away after taking it out to use?
