Also Sense, and possibility of upgrades being stopped in a relatively short time into the future.

Sense is subjective, but the second part simply isn't true.
I mean HTC practically promised 4.2 and Sense 5 for the last flagship, One X

It's ok, soon enough you can get HTC Droid Maxx SWAG Yolo 4G Blaze from Verizon, with a 5 month life cycle.
Yep. I don't blame HTC because att probably paid them enough to make limiting that model financially worthwhile. It's probably a better decision considering high storage models do not typically have high demand.Yeah, because it has nothing to do with AT&T and lots of money.
Besides, carriers have exclusives all the time, such as the LG Optimus 2600 on Rogers only, and exclusive colours of phones on one carrier only.
Blaming HTC lol. Really guys?

Europe is now the Third World according to you?
Doesn't Europe have 2 year warranty?
Warranties don't cover you for accidental damage, just technical and manufacturing faults. If you have a smartphone approaching £500 you should have some sort of insurance, be it part of your home insurance, cover offered by your bank account or specific mobile insurance. Not just for damage, but for theft/loss.
Usually, at least here in Sweden, there's a self risk fee involved as well if it's self wrought.

Why make it exclusive to HTC? That's the dumbest thing.
You want to datamine as many people as possible, they are going to have to put it up on the Play store sooner or later.
Not that I'm ever going to install it.

Huh? Doesn't it say in the article itself that it's likely going to be released in the play store and thus not HTC exclusive?
And on a side note, I CANNOT BELIEVE the legacy menu button is still there. Just ridiculous.
