I wouldn't worry about it, I have the modern town hall and the Booker police station and it doesn't bother me at all. Honestly the modern police station looks kinda like one of those self cleaning bathrooms they have in some cities (at least to me!)
How do I get it btw? When I was online earlier today I got nothing?
I didn't even think about the police station also being modern or classic. And the fact that they have different characters inside. The classic one looks better.

Yeah. Switching out SD cards too much can some sort of degradation effect too. Those things are just too fragile. I'd never take mine out.

And yeah, about the AC economy... I don't think it was in the spirit of the game in the first place to obtain rare items just to sell them for lots of bells. Bells are easy to obtain, but the duping is not really cool for other reasons.

I just read up on it... I guess if you did it all day, it could be an issue. For occasional use I wouldn't expect it to have any more impact than saving from normal visits.
Regardless, I ain't goin' nowhere near it myself. No fun, IMO, and not even useful like some of the old WW hacks that helped with research into villager movement patterns, hybrids, and the like.
It probably is, was already waiting for US Gaffers that would have one to cataloge.

In other news I think I'm going to make my life hard for a while and demolish my default bridge in hopes of getting a new bridge suggestion. Only reason it sucks is because it's the bridge that goes between my house and retail lol.

Just friended and visited a Japanese girl (who actually speaks English, so that was nice
). She gave me a bamboo grass (which I think I had already, but didn't want to be rude) and some blue roses, which'll replace the other ones I had that disappeared through nebulous means. Def gonna keep those in my house somewhere just to be safe. Here are some pics:

The sloppy set is actually rare. It only appears in Re-Tail and the lost-and-found and can't be ordered. 800k actually isn't a bad price for em.

I'm not against people duping but it takes the fun from getting rare items or going to foreign towns to get them... I want to see how this affects the economy, lol. Here we let people catalog stuff for free or give away items we don't want so it's not a problem.
Maybe I can finally get a 7-11 set I think it's the only thing I'd want out of this duping thing since you can't get it anywhere.
