These are good questions. Additionally, does it affect town rating if you replace every native tree with a perfect version? I know that you had to have a certain number of native trees in Wild World in order to maintain perfect status.

How lenient is bridge building? Before committing to demolition, would I be able to move this bridge exactly one square to the right?

Pretty sure you won't be able to place a bridge there again. Villager is too close and do is the fire pit. I've heard so many horror stories of people demolishing a bridge wanting to build another type of bridge in that same spot, but aren't able to because of villagers living too close to where the original was :/

Ugh. That is fucking horrible news.

So Beardo moved out and I was worried Nook would stick me with a villager I didn't like, so I said fuck it and spent 3 hours making new chars and reseting and checking the campsite finally got a decent villager-Mint!

I really need time for more online play. Still need many more visitors but I do not have that much to offer, if anything at all really :(

Freaking house renovations (irl that is) is taking up all my time after work. Also I really need a silver watering can. My flowers keep dying and I have too many to keep up with a single normal one :(

Yup, not possible. I tried something very similar and the house was too close for rebuilding :/

Yeah I'm so afraid to demolish my default bridge, since (stupidly) I built the cafe kinda close. I THINK I might be safe, but I have a nice path going from it, with trees lining it up, so I'm not going to take the risk. :/

I demolished another bridge that didn't have anything near it instead.

I sort of regret not getting Pekoe, but I already have 2 other bear villagers...Still kinda regret it tho lol.
Also, how long does it take for them to move from campsite to fenced area in town? wondering if I need to check in with another new char today to make sure placement is okay.

...Interior Theme Bonus
Collect a minimum number of items of the same designated Interior Theme.
There must be a minimum of 8 items total in the room.
Thresholds with 1 matching exterior Reform:
70% of room for 5,000 x # of total different items +
40,000 x # of exterior Reforms
90% of room for 8,000 x # of total different items +
70,000 x # of exterior Reforms
Threshold with 3 matching exterior Reforms:
90% of room for 11,000 x # of total different items +
95,000 x # of exterior reforms

I'm a bit confused about this part of the challenge. I have my exterior fully trendy themed so I guess I can pick the one on the bottom right? So let's say I have 15 trendy pieces in a room and nothing else. Then I can go with 15×11.000=165.000 and 95.000×5=475.000. Totals at 165.000+475.000=640.000 for that one room. And I'm able to repeat this for a second room then?

If that is correct I should just smash way more trendy pieces in two rooms together instead of going trough the trouble of having different complete sets in all my rooms like I have now.

Thanks! Liquefy Faq is the one you also posted here with the bug off?

Yesterday my house was 100% trendy btw except for a few items that have no theme at all. According to MoridB that is. Do you know if themeless items affect your score negatively too?

probably - anything that dilutes your 'on theme' items to below 90% of the room.

and you're right, you don't seem to need full sets - just any old on theme crap will do.

Yeah, Cesar is too close to my default bridge so I'm not demolishing it until he's gone. Hopefully I'll have the Zen bridge by then

I never knoew that villagers can really have some taste because Blaire hate the polka dot set and will do what she can to get rid of it. Like for example she sold at at the retail the closet I offered her and then she asked another char of mine to get rid of the polka dot sofa.

I love seeing this, want more.

Because (I think) you can't build a bridge exactly where you want, neighbors can be REALLY troublesome. I was said I couldn't buy a bridge because of a neighbors... whose was 9 (!) spaces away, and not visible on the screen.

Finally Nook is remodelling again. I guess into a Wal-Mart type store.

The past two days Retail has been buying turnips for above 150... but I want that big money prize.

My T&T shop will be closed tomorrow as well.

Didn't get too much hybrids today, but I did randomly get a black tulip in a spot where I wasn't even aiming to get one so that was nice. I also got a hologram machine from the meteor showers yesterday!

Man, I'm going to need to follow some HHA guides or something. I'm assuming that I should be doing the Trendy challenge since I have cataloged a lot of trendy furniture.

I should get to cataloging the minimalist and modern furniture sets though... Can anyone help me out with that when I get out of work in eight hours?

Anyone able to help me out with grass deterioration info?

I've heard that just walking (not running) on the grass still deteriorates it. Is that true? If so, when you plant flowers and water them, don't you have to walk on the grass to get to your flowers and are therefor ruining the grass still? It sounds like it'd be an endless loop of my grass wearing down.

- Digital Photoframe
- Electric Kettle
- Large Magazine Rack
- Balance Board
- Poster Stand
- DJ Booth
- Electric/Metal/Rock Guitar
- Gold Stereo
- Arrow Sign
- Simon's Pic (not trendy)

Room 2

- Full Minimalist
- Home Computer Rack
- Computer Desk ×2
- Small Spotlight ×2
- Wall Mounted Speaker ×2
- Watercooler
- CD Shelf
- Six/Eight Lamp

- Chaisse Lounge

Then in my other rooms just more full trendy sets (Stripe, Polka dot, Sleek) and a few pieces of Astro furniture. Also the Campus set minus wall and floor. And more random trendy furniture like the Flat Screen TV and a few trendy records on the wall. Stripped every room from every piece of furniture that is not trendy except for Simon's pic. Also have three cicada's in one of the rooms and have the full trendy exterior.

I'm gonna go nuts if I won't receive a letter from the HHA tomorrow informing me that I got past 1.1 million points.

Walking on the grass frequently still deteriorates it, yes. But the rate at which the grass deteriorates is way less if you walk on the grass rather than if you run.

To tell you the truth, I've had flowers ontop of certain patches of dirt and have watered them every day: the dirt patches are still dirt patches.

don't you need to follow the the that you told the NPC ? So you exterior and interior should match that theme ?

Or is it just the first challenge ?

Aw, that's dissapointing. I'm trying my hardest to get rid of all my dirt patches but it feels like im fighting a losing battle when i have to walk over the grass, to get to the dirt, to water the flowers planted in the dirt.

Yep, that's the idea. That's why my exterior is fully trendy themed, just like everything I have inside.

I made a Google themed room, where young hip people can send emails and search for porn.

I see you have two computers, speakers etc in one room. The second one doesn't give any extra points. Put one of them in a separate room.

Thanks for the tip, will do that then. Just fucking up my interior designs a little more :(

I should have never bothered with having a pretty house before I was done with the HHA.

Island is selling Cabana Wall Radio (again...), Pirate Hat, and a straw hat.

Retail's Bonus of the day is Barred Knifejaw and Furniture. (Bell Boom 20%)

TT Mart is selling Alpine Closet, Mochi Pestle, Polka Dot Table, Robo Clock, Tearoom Wall, Palace Wall, Classic Carpet and Mosaic Tile.

Update on Nook's Homes, Ables, and Kicks in 15 mins.

-------------------

Pate had moved in. Thanks to AzurePhoenix's advice, I wisely loaded my game, went straight to create new save file and inspected my town. Pate had moved in a spot that was reserved for my orchard/gardens. So I reset again, second time was somewhat better and was placed in front of Tank's house. I thought I try for the superior placement that Fang had left. It didn't happen, instead Pate placed herself obnoxiously right in front of the Town Hall, in my orchard area again, and then finally back to the second better ideal location that's in front of Tank's house but not too close to be undesirable. Parked my secondary character's house at the spot where Fang had left. Debating on keeping my secondary character.

I'm TRIPPING. :( I'll need a Katrina somewhere. Lovely Phone said I needed a "cap". My crown isn't good enough I suppose. :( My Feng Shui isn't good enough either. :\

No interesting hybrids except a pink tulip from my tulip farm. I got a white rose again from my orangexpurple garden. Put those with my reds+ and whites+ at the beach.

Second morning in a row that I find a red tulip in my orange and purple roses. It's gotta be Limberg. The little perv knows I've got it out for him so he's exacting his revenge when I'm not there.

Furniture is my bonus at Retail today. The day after I clean out my storage. Bah. Must work on my Feng Shui.

Speaking of, does Feng Shui give a bonus in the theme challenge?

I think one of my Nook upgrades was a day or two late, but I'm excited for the next one when I get it! It's so hard to complete any sets with such a small selection of furniture everyday that's usually refrigerators and space suits.

I'm about to open my gates Philia. Any other person on my friendlist that wants to visit Katrina, feel free to join.

Please note that I haven't bought a thing at Nooklings yet because they offer 50% off after 6pm. They don't have anything I really need but for the sake of filling my catalogue I'd buy them anyways. So if any of you decides to buy any of the stuff please let me cataloge it before you leave :)

Crap, you're right. I was wondering why I suddenly seemed to have way more fruit trees than before :lol

WINTER IS COMING

I've been to a TT'ers village a few weeks a go and the place looks amazing in october.

Ugh.

I removed a path earler to find my grass has totally eroded underneath. I thought grass didn't deteriorate under paths?

Someone explain. :(
