Unfortunately, the deadline passed and my friends list is full so I will not be able to add you during this Sunday event however I plan to host smaller events throughout this week to fit in more people. However, unlike Sunday, I cannot dedicate an entire day to the event so watch the thread throughout the week to see when my gates are opened.

Yes, after over a month of looking for it (really shouldn't have taken this long), my Nook's finally had the Sweets Exterior today, so I can finally complete the look of my house.
Also, my fruit-themed room in my museum continues to come along fairly nicely.

In other news, my playing has slowed down considerably. Catching rare beetles and sharks on the island became tedious after a few days, and I unfortunately missed Joan today, so I couldn't pour my life savings into turnips.
Thankfully, the club finally opened, so I can't wait to find out what's inside!

Yeah, I know, and I really do love how the community here is more than willing to help with stuff like that. But, I'm not really in any hurry though and just trying to wait for this stuff to show up naturally, since that's how I prefer to play Animal Crossing (if i used other people's towns to get what I want, I'd just get bored and stop playing after that, and I'm not ready to give up my Animal Crossing addiction quite yet xD). Just surprised how long it took and how terribly my luck was is all since I had duplicates of pretty much everything else in that time. xD
Fruit rooms are best rooms. I'm still trying to figure out how to arrange mine. I had Cyrus make all of the different tangerine chair varieties and now it's just super cluttered D:

Trust me the only times that the community might fill you up too quickly are the giant cataloging parties. Generally, the game is designed to encourage you to check out other town shops since something could be rare in your town and common in another. With Redd not showing up in everyone's town regularly, coordinating with others is probably the only decent way to complete the art collection.
I've traded with people regularly, gotten help on a few fossils, and I'm still addicted enough to put at least two to three hours into the game every day.

Most of the time when I'm missing a fossil it's usually obscured by a tree or something. I find the best way to check is to press Up on the d-pad and it will remove any tree/plant/building that's in the same horizontal row with you or in front of you from your view so you can easily check behind them.
