As others have said, yes you can. You most likely have to have a 2nd bridge already in place first.
I built a bridge one day, then the next destroyed the original, then the 3rd day built a brick bridge where the original one was.

Do you happen by chance to have another perfect fruit? I only had one pop up that I remember when I started the game, but accidently ate it when I was testing out stuff in the game without knowing how rare it was. I would gladly trade just to have a chance to see perfect fruit again lol.

Still wondering why there's no Pokemon or Donkey Kong (triple bananas don't count) items in this game. I thought there would be at least pokeballs or a DK barrel. There are too many Pikmin items to my taste (I know, Pikmin 3 is coming soon...).
