Another former Nintendo developer working for MS?

I was reading the 1up article on Xbox 360's first party efforts when I came across this:

"Rare's fantasy action-adventure Kameo is finally coming to life as an Xbox 360 launch project, on a scale far bigger than originally imagined. The one-on-one monster battles envisioned for its GameCube incarnation are now massive melees with more than 2,000 creatures on-screen, each driven by its own individual AI. Meanwhile, Rare may not be the only former Nintendo partisan finding a new home at Microsoft...but we won't be able to talk about this until E3 properly kicks off next week."

Who could they be talking about?

Sorry if this happens to be old.

"SK or Factor 5."

What has Factor 5 been up to lately? Considering both SK's and F5's releases, neither moving over is all that exciting. If they didn't have the "Let's rally around them because they are exclusive" element, I wonder where they would be right now.

Factor 5 managed to produce some truly impressive graphics on the GC, so I could see why they might be valuable to MS. Besides, I can't think of who else they would be talking about.

MS: Where we'll gladly takes other people's scraps.

It's probably F5 since nothing like that has been announced yet but we know they are working on something for Xbox or the 360 right?

Turrican or Thornado ;)*

Yes they are working on n XBX 360 title, so its either them or SK. Not really a surprise Rare. The defection will be from Sony's camp.

SK or Factor V.

Working with... suggests F5. Depends on how they phrase it. Could be SK working for Sega who are working for MS. ergo.. working for MS.

No one else I can think of. (of any significance ... even SK isn't that significant considering Nintendo dropped them like a hot po-ta-toe)

I think it's Factor 5. A launch game by them would totally erase the bad taste that PDZ has left in my mouth

I keep thinking it's Resident Evil's creators Capcom.

This + "Recognizable weapon" (Resident Evil knife) Through head" hint = Resident Evil on X360?

former Nintendo developer suggests a closer relationship. Capcom is close but they only had 4 exclusive games for cube (while being a mutli platformer developer first). I think its someone close. Otherwise, its all moot. The big houses are free to work for whoever they choose. Namco, Sega, SE, Capcom.. etc etc

The wording there was "partisan", meaning a strong supporter, of Nintendo. Capcom was a pretty strong GC supporter, were they not? As was Sega.

Perhaps they mean for a bit longer than just last generation. Then I would think "Factor 5".

Maybe. The last one hurt the series imo. Then again if Lucasarts doesn't rush them and Bioware handles it....

Either Silicon Knights or Factor 5 are the most logical.
Matt
mentioned each to have X360 games in development.
