i attempt to mack

and get turned down

I probably have attempted this about once a year through AOL chatrooms/Twitch/Tinychat etc over the decades

I tried doing it in real life once in 2007 and when i called her later that night a Dry cleaning service picked up

So probably not that often because I kinda always know how its going to end

with either a permanent ban or a laugh.

I don't know your character, or wtf you actually mean by macking. So I'll just assume you're trying to find a woman for a relationship.

The obvious advice, if you want to get it done, once in 40 years is not enough. Use your best judgement, learn from mistakes, move forward. Don't just stop if you still want it (again, assuming you're not up to some shady shit).

You need to go out in the real world, to bars. You can meet women online too. 1 woman a year isn't going to work though. You need to get used to rejection, you should be approaching like 5 women a week in real life and try to talk to them. I was told for guys just getting into dating you should expect to be doing that for a long time, maybe even 2 years to get good at this if this is something you aren't naturally good at.

You're right, it's not. But avoiding it isn't helping you, you've got to go out there and get burned until you develop a thick skin. Realign your goals, not the goal is get a girlfriend but the goal is to actually talk TALK to a woman you don't know. I talked to one new woman today, I achieved my goal.

Build from there.
 
Getting laid is work even for people who are skilled at it. Much like losing weight or avoiding balding, it's probably one thing which most people wish there was a catch all easy fix for

Theres this guy at work who I'm sorta pity friends with. I dont like him. Hes flabby, unattractive, pasty, soft spoken, constantly self deprecating, and has awful posture. Decent taste in movies though. He uses that to mingle.

He should work more on himself. Start working out. Seek some therapy. Improve the package. It's a game dude. You have to sell and market yourself. Make them come to your and even then you have to go chase em.

Check out our fitness thread here. Get some physique. Get some confidence. I've read your posts here, you're a decent dude. Start with that and build on that.

Get ready to be kicked in the balls repeatedly. That's life

Have you actually tried talking to a female first, get to know them to build up a rapport. Actually show an Interest?
Then after time tried to take it to the next level ?

To be fair there are some genuinely terrible women out there is dating, not talking about looks but attitude, they do provide the best dating stories though. Also teach you the red flags so you can bail out without getting in too deep.

After reading all the comments I've decided that it's probably best to just give up and continue to watch VR porn. Happiness first and foremost should be the ultimate goal in ones life and if I were to travel down the path of macking I certainly would not end up a happy fellow.
