anyone else looking forward to Playstation Experience more than Sony E3?

Not that much related but, I have to say, I'm really bored when I see 3rd party game footage at Sony/Ms conferences, only to see it later again in the EA, Konami, Ubiaoft conference. They should really tone down on those and focus on their first party efforts.

I hate this, they have their own conference to show their games

Sony are spreading announcements well between e3, gamescom, tgs and psx. I expect that to continue this year. They won't announce everything big at e3 so I believe Microsoft and Nintendo will have more of a presence.

Very much impressed by how Sony had its announcements handled at all these events last year, hopefully it continues this year. The only things of importance that 100% need to be at e3 are the games releasing at the end of the year. Everything releasing 2016 is a bonus. Also love how they give lots of indies time on stage.

I see two sides to it. Sometimes Sony's E3 would usually showcase New IPs from their WWS, Playstation associated franchises with a very large fan base (MGS, Final Fantasy, etc) and probably start a new partnership like how they're doing it with star wars battlefront. Along side with some indies spotlighting too. Now from PSX, I get the vibe that its mainly to small hard core audience. Sure, popular triple a games will be shown, but I just have an intuition that they might show off stuff that will appeal to the very hardcore PlayStation fan base such as yakuza and suikoden.

So I don't know, I'm excited for both of them equally I guess.

Naw. If there is another Playstation Experience, it's probably a bit too far off in time to get excited for right now. Meanwhile, E3 is just around the corner...

Always look forward to these kind of events though, but E3 is like Christmas to me. Even when it turns me down I seldomly leave disapppointed as a whole.

Edit: I read that as just "E3", not "Sony E3".

Well, maybe just as much. I guess PE being further off could mean more stuff get announced then, so, I think you might have a point.

You might want to lower your expectations. We still don't even have a release date for Y5.For all we know they might have silently cancelled the localization.

They will announce it when its ready just like they did with SF4U. My bet is announce it in June release it in July or August.

I'm pretty sure they will have both a grea PSX and E3. They still have to show a lot of stuff we know they are working on, from The Last Guardian to GoW4, GT7, GR2 or new IPs from Media Molecule, Bend and Guerrilla. And they also have stuff to be released in less than a year like Uncharted 4, SFV, No Man's Sky and Project Morpheus.

The only thing I miss from them is to bring back Wipeout and Parappa.

i see all the conferences as pretty equal really. Sony atleast know how to spread out their announcements. I hope they dont break and suddenly show titles releasing 2017 and beyond

Yep, they've surely been silent about it lately.

I don't have twitter and i missed Gio's post. I'm glad they are still working on it !Hopefully 2015 is still their target.

I feel like PSX is for loyalists and diehards first and foremost. That's great for them, but the kind of things that typically get them really jazzed, I don't care about.

I don't give a shit about GoW or TLG. I'm not interested in VR. I do like Naughty Dog. I'll (probably) play the new Ratchet. That's about it.

There's more to video games than Sony. I'm interested in what everyone is doing, so I'm more excited about E3; Where everyone has to give their all and not just sort of coast off the comfort and company of people that are more than likely already very satisfied customers.

I have a feeling this years E3 is going to be pretty nuts. With God of War 4 likely appearing, Last Guardian coming back, more from FFXV. Persona 5. Rime. More from Ratchet and Clank. More from the tomorrow children and No Mans Sky and The Witness and shadow of the beast. More from Street Fighter 5. Get to see what Level 5 has in store for the PS4. Get to see more from the #buildthelist campaign and who knows what they will do there. Never expected Grim Fandango that's for sure.

Going to be a fun show. Hope we see Gran Turismo 7, GG's new IP, God of War 4, more from Uncharted 4, more from WiLD which looked phenomenal at Gamescom, etc etc

I have a feeling the both events this year will be boring, but at least E3 can hold my attention for a few hours each day so.... E3 it is!

Guess we have to wait more.. QD could show their game before Santa monica does & I'm sure Media Molecule will show their creative project
