A new shipment hit today. If you still need a PSP drop me a PM with your MSN account name and I will IM you payment instructions. I can get at most two more units.

Pricing -
$350 Value Packs
$300 Basic Set (Chances are you will not get one so when you paypal, pay as if you are getting a value pack)

$55 for games includes shipping

$35 for shipping of the system to US Confirmed addresses only.

Add 3% for our friends at paypal.

Hehe... I figure I pretty much got everyone who wanted one by now, but it is worth checking and sparing them from paying the ridiculous import markup that still exists.

Id almost like the Mr. McPheely of PSPs as a tag, but you cant make the request yourself... hint hint. I even have some Mr. Rogers esque cardigans!
 
This shipment does establish a trend. Outside of the holidays, all shipments have been on Thursdays with new games.

Really simple to figure out what days to be on the lookout.
 
The price is good, and my latter reasons aside, i'd jump on this. The possibility of geting a dead pixel is what bothers me, combined with launch quality hardware, and Sony's QC in general. When i get my US PSP, i will get an extended warranty with it.

Sometimes you can make the request yourself, sometimes you can't (and it may well backfire...)

I'm just glad it looks like the PSPs are already taken. I don't really have the cash available but I couldn't help being tempted, and if it looked like there were any left I'd be giving it serious thought...
 
Yeah, its like people shouldn't really ask to have crazy rounders-based tags away from English people that have no inkling what they mean (whistles nonchalantly)
 
Troi the entire point is that he's selling them AT COST as a service to GAFFERs. He's not making any profit. You're trying to sell one about $50 cheaper than they can be found on Ebay...

Isn't he making like $100 on each? I appreciate what he's doing, but let's not deify the guy... Marking anything up by $100 would seem obscene if not for the fact that others are raping people for far more. It's nicer than most people are being, but not totally selfless.
 
Oh man, I'd forgotten the depths to which eBay scammers will sink. I decided to check around and see what PSPs were going for and found this auction. See if you can find the hidden secret!

Sony continues to trickle out a few PSPs every now and again to the Japanese market. Supply is comedically low and demand is artificially high.

Official line is they're region-free, but I'm not gonna believe that until I see it with my own eyes.

Something weird is going on... the first post in this topic used to be by someone else. They were offering PSPs for $200 plus shipping... it wasn't tetsuo, and the post was completely different... but I KNOW this is the same topic...

yyyep. But how does it hurt you? I think Bebpo's already got buyers for all the PSPs he's able to get his glowing, godlike hands on.
 
Yeah, I didn't get one, but I envisioned a sort of pool of PMs from which he could draw from should he ever get any more. The smaller it remained, the better. I mean if he has 30 PMs he'll never bother getting any more, but if he only has say 6 people who PMed him that he couldn't accomodate, he might be willing to go get a couple more PSPs per week.

I wonder if I am duckrolls hated scapler? :-) Probably not, but big ups to duckroll for what he is doing. Id do the same, but I do want some compensation for going out of my way to get PSPs.

Anyways, Kiryogi, your PSP is shipping tomorrow. I shot for today, but I got VERY busy at work. Still waiting on payment for the second PSP I have.... if it falls through, Mairu will be getting it.

GOD DAMNIT IT'S NOT ME FOR THE LAST TIME. I got my PSP from Bebpo. He's in Japan, not me. We're just friends. He's the nice guy offering PSPs at cost. If it were me, I would have sold 10 on eBay before starting with GAF. I AM NOT A NICE PERSON! Stop trying to ruin my bad name! :D

No offense but geez people....It's coming out in the US in a little under two months...TWO MONTHS! Can you not wait less than 60 days and pay for it at a significantly lower price? I want one real bad too but damn. Not being able to play domestic UMD movies and some US games is not worth it. Just my $0.02

Hrm, in my case, I do a lot of R2 importing anyway. But regardless, I'd still only be watching movies on dvd with a nice big screen as intended.. UMD movies are still somewhat of a novelty so far IMO. It's also still not confirmed that it's region locked on games :P

$200+30 shipping isn't cost? Because that's what the guy in the other topic was charging...
 
The US PSP release date is probably March, but it hasn't been announced yet. However, given the supply issues, even if it does launch in March it will probably be in very limited quantities.

If so, tricky bastards like EB Games might decide to sell systems in bundle packs, jacking the price up to $399 and you have to buy three shitty launch games and a few Mad Katz accessories, and give the clerk a blowjob before you can have your system.

Add to that the fact that I'm still not convinced that games won't be region-coded, and I'm a heavy Japan importer.

I always enjoyed those when I worked at EB during the PS2 launch.
 
If anyone feels like tetsuoxb is ripping anyone off feel free to pay $400 + shipping at play asia to import a basic PSP core system.

I'm glad they are sold too, as the offer is tempting. Must...hold...out...for....NA launch....!!!
 
Man, I can't afford that. Something around $250CDN for a regular system and I'd bite (and of course that won't be happening, so I'll just cry till March).

The retail price for the basic system is probably going to be like $200CDN.

I hope no one thinks im ripping people off, considering after launch people were considering me a saint for selling them less than 600 a piece. Shifting sands of time.
 
Would imagine people generally assume that since it's getting slightly easier and more common to find PSPs that the "markup" would also be slightly decreased. No clue what you were charging last month but i'm assuming it's the same price as now. That could be one theory, could and probably am mistaken though. Either way it's irrelevant to me as importing is impractical and financially retarded with my wants and needs rofl :lol
