This.

I'm sorry, but the way Sanders supporters clung to the bird thing will never not be stupid to me

they called them and asked "will you be supporting Hillary Clinton". Yes = a vote. No doesn't. Everyone knew she had enough but was holding them back until after tomorrow, AP just really REALLY wanted to write the story first

Right. To be clear, I don't doubt that they did the math. Nor do I doubt Hillary will be the nominee. It's just a pretty flimsy definition of "clinched", which is a term we shouldn't use lightly. It's worth waiting the <24 hours to do it right. They had to put an asterisk on their announcement.

Does anyone in their right mind think superdelegates, pretty much by nature long time democrats involved in the party, will vote for the person who just now joined the party and who has thrown them insults over the person who has grinded it out with the party for decades?

If he won California 90 to 10 and took the lead in pledged delegates they would have too. The optics would be terrible and it would completely fracture the party.

Not saying he's going to win Cal 90 to 10, but a situation where the super delegates handed the nomination to an individual who did not have at least a plurality of pledged delegates would completely destroy the credibility of the party.

Relying on superdelegates to vote against the will of the people in the biggest subversion of democracy in American politics since Tammany Hall and an astounding disenfranchisement of an entire region of the country for an Independent was certainly a flawed strategy.

And who won more votes and delegates.

No. No one in their *right* mind thinks that. But a lot of people that aren't ready to accept reality do.

I wonder if the superdelegates wanted to give the middle finger to Jeff Weaver for choosing to attack Chris Matthew's wife instead of defending Bernie.

Fucking super-delegates. Let the people decide.
They did. Bernie lost.

Whiners can whine that their candidate couldn't steal the election from the more popular and more viable candidate, but all it does is make the rest of us laugh and dismiss their views. Bernie lost in every way imaginable. No amount of mental gymnastics can change the fact that he's just not as well liked by the democratic voters.

On her wrist. Her fucking. Wrist.

At least put that shit where you can't see it

I shouldn't laugh. But this got a chuckle out of me.

It shouldn't be that hard for a good tattoo artist to cover that up and turn it into something else if they ever decide to do that.
