Excellent.
What prices do we think we'll see with an iPad Pro? For references, the other portable starting prices are:
iPad Mini 3: $399
iPad Air 2: $499
MacBook Air 11": $899
MacBook Air 13": $999
MacBook: $1299
MacBook Pro Retina 13": $1299
MacBook Pro Retina 15": $1999
I think it'll start at 699 or 799. if 64 GB base is true, I think 799 is more likely.
The thing is gonna be pretty expensive, I think.
I dont understand. Are we expecting to get a Rose Gold and a Gold device?

It's that rumor that has been around since 2011. And it'll probably be around next year too.Are we really going to get an iPad Pro? It'll be a crowded event even without it.

Yeah, which is why I have trouble believing the iPad Pro would come now. First off, iOS isn't ready for it. So an iPad Pro would just be a bigger iPad with no features that make it Pro. And second, they won't be putting OS X on it because it just isn't going to happen. In order for us to get an iPad Pro they'd need to show off some features in iOS that would make it Pro. They'd have to be hiding some features in iOS that we haven't seen yet. I mean what would people actually want from an iPad Pro?
I don't even think they'll spend 30 minutes on the new Apple TV.
.
I keep reading conflicting reports. Is the 6s launching tomorrow or on the 18th? I keep hearing both!

Usually couple weeks later or whatever
announced tomorrow, available on the 18th
Apple TV rumored to be out October, iPad Pro late November.
You know, when Apple released the iPhone with its restrictive "No bloatware carrier apps allowed! iPhone must be iPhone period!" stance, I thought "Apple just saved the cell phone! No more shitty UI and confusing app selections." Then Google came along, released Android and said "It's free and open and you can do whatever you want with it!" and basically took cell phones back to what Apple freed them from. They should have made rules for Android. The same rules Apple made. Does Google not have the same pull that Steve had? I guess even Google couldn't restrict the phone makers from putting their own apps on the phone. Shame really.
Is it Wednesday yet? I really really can't wait to see what the 6S/+ brings.
I know it's not going to happen, but I would loooove if I could get an iPad Pro as a good alternative to a Cintiq.
Next two months should be interesting and will decide the fate of my computing for years to come. Here's my situation...
I bought a 2013 15" rMBP in October 2013 (the month it was released). I love it and it hasn't failed me to this day. Amazing display, great performance, battery still amazing.
A few weeks ago I bought a Surface Pro 3 as a drawing tablet. I'm floored at how much I like this thing. Last day I can return it in the 15-day window is.... tomorrow! I really haven't touched my MBP since I got the Surface.
So here's what I'm thinking of possible scenarios...
A) iPad Pro is amazing and does exactly what I want. This would require a stylus with pressure sensitivity and actual art applications that fit in my workflow. This would mainly be a version of Photoshop that is at least powerful enough to do everything I want on the tablet... there is a rumor that Adobe and Apple are working on more robust iOS apps so we might see this tomorrow. If this is all clear from the conference I could see myself potentially returning the Surface Pro.
B) iPad Pro doesn't measure up... Surface Pro 4 blows my socks off and I sell my SP3 AND rMBP and get the new top of the line SP4 as my only computer.
I would prefer Apple releases a killer iPad Pro that fits my needs, but I guess we'll see.
ALSO, is there anyone out there confirming their inside sources that says iPad Pro will be announced tomorrow? I have a funny feeling that there will still be an October event for iPads and all we'll see tomorrow is new iPhones and Apple TV.

I love my SP 3. I left OSX to get it a year ago and haven't looked back since.
Well you're not wrong. But it's trivial to just throw them at the end of a folder. I'd really just prefer the option to toggle apps off like on the iPod nano or the current iCloud Drive app. (Which will probably eventually just become an app that is always there too no matter what.) I'm sure most of the apps are kept because they have services that other apps require so removing them might not always be wise. I don't think they'd take up that much space anyway. Especially now that we don't have skeuomorphism anymore and with app thinning and bundle trimming I'm sure they'll take up even less from now on.I'm ready for pretty much all non essential apps to be deletable. Apple might not allow carrier bloatware but they do load up their phones with a variety of useless apps as well.![]()
They'd have to start calling the 4" iPhone the "iPhone mini".I am going to say no iPads tomorrow. New iPads and pros, Mac updates and el cap in October. Everything else tomorrow.
Also why not call it the iPad Plus? fits with latest iPhone convention etc.

Which would actually be cool.
iPhone mini > iPhone > iPhone Plus
iPad mini > iPad Air > iPad Plus
But then the Air part throws it off.
So start calling the normal iPhone the iPhone Air.
Problem solved. And complicated even further.
MacBookNow add in the Macbook naming conventions.

Hopefully a good screen. Screen on current mini retina is such a huge step down from every other newer device they sell. Colors look all washed out on it in comparison. What is going to be special about the new iPad Mini?
