It's not all that bad in my experience. Yeah it's ugly but the case is pretty sturdy and the build quality of the headphones themselves is excellent, so when you're just casually traveling and they're in your bag nothing will happen.

I already use them in loud places all the time, I carry a pair with me all the time when I'm out.

I switched from iOS to Android in 2018 and never looked back, give me a break. This isn't 2011 anymore where the differences were obvious, hell, i'd argue since Jellybean and Project Butter it was equal and just kept getting better. My 6a and Graphene OS feels so good. Something about the iPhone X killed my interest, they felt like boutique products vs high end devices.

It's been a Bluetooth thing with aptx for years, no idea why Apple hasn't had it. Android is embracing it this year I believe but it's been a codec standard available for almost 10 years
