I got my
Jot stylus yesterday. Quick impressions are that it's pretty nice. If you have one of the Boxwave clones, it's a bit longer and heavier than that so it feels more like an actual pen. The cap is a screw on type on both ends, so when you put it on the back it gives a solid bit of extra length to it.
As they mentioned on their Kickstarter page before, some apps appear to have a built in offset, but in the ones I've tried it's not a huge amount and workable enough at least. I think the biggest difference between it and the Boxwave types is simply the noise of the stylus on the screen, since you now have a hard tip vs squishy one. Tap on the screen with some hard object and you can sort of get an idea of the sound.
One other thing is that it makes you more aware of lag. When drawing/writing with a finger you obscure the point and therefore some lag a bit, but under the clear disc it's a bit more noticeable.
edit: Speaking of writing, has anyone tried
7notes before? Apparently it's another one with handwriting recognition.

Maybe they will change it because the Vita will make quad core versions cheaper.
Sony probably makes* their own SoC, just as Apple makes their own. If the Vita brings Sony's prices down it doesn't necessarily mean anything for Apple.
*By "make" I mean design the chip using licensed ARM and PowerVR core designs, and farming it out to whatever CPU foundry like Samsung or TSMC or whoever.

You seem adamant about how much you like goodreader! What makes it so much better than just the base pdf or a free pdf reader? Also Flipboard is sweet looks cool! How could I have forgotten about Carcassone! So many board games to buy!
Think of GoodReader as a sort of traditional filesystem for iOS, cause iOS doesn't have one itself. It's not exactly the same as that but it's close enough, and can connect to nearly anything like Dropbox, FTP, websites, SSH/SFTP, etc.
I don't even like it that much as a reader honestly, but I keep it around as a semi central file storage area and network file access app.
