What have I missed so far? Anything actually worth a damn?
These WWDCs have been so boring the last five years or so.
They should just walk out and say "yeah, the smartphone is basically perfect at this point, whether you're on apple or android. Anyway, here's a new theme."
Was that written by AI?The closing of the WWDC is a banger. Singing App reviews is pretty great. 6 out of 5 stars
TBH I think at this point with technological advancements moving so slow the best thing we can do is get refined software to take advantage of it. Where do you even go from here lolThese WWDCs have been so boring the last five years or so.

They might've pushed for that liquid glass aesthetic too hard, this looks kinda ass.
Incremental improvements, but we never see anything mind-blowing or revolutionary anymore. It's always small tweaks, or min-maxing QoL stuff. What the fuck are you talking about? This was about software, not hardware. And they showed a TON of improvements.
the mobile OS were pretty much figured out 7-8 years ago. Like iOS 12. Android and iOS. Same with how Windows 7 was the optimal desktop OS. Since then it's just been teams of thousands of people trying to find a reason to exist.Incremental improvements, but we never see anything mind-blowing or revolutionary anymore. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate all of that. But most of the recent WWDCs have had the "could've been an email" energy.

It would be nice to allow Car Play (or android auto) to have access to my cars battery charge. That way I can plan for recharges during a longer trip. I know there are some work arounds with Waze and a few other 3rd party apps however it would be nice to have native support.
Thanks for the link! Saved me the time sifting through all of their announcements today!I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's a CarPlay Ultra feature

CarPlay Ultra, the next generation of CarPlay, begins rolling out today
Today, CarPlay Ultra is available with new Aston Martin vehicle orders in the U.S. and Canada, and will be available for existing models in the coming weeks.www.apple.com
I was thinking the same exact thing during the presentation. What the fuck were they thinking. I mainly use fedora and debian, followed by Windows, and lastly MacOS, but damn, not good.
Looks bad, no improvement UX wise in macos. Guess I'll just leave both windows and macos and install an XFCE distro. Want my computer to look and behave like a computer.
The more I see about the liquid glass design, the worse it gets.
Overdesigned mess.
I don't understand how it even got this far without someone intervening. Look at this, wtf is this man:
I would like the simplicity of this is to come back. Which also won't happen.I know it won't happen, but I'd love the Aqua aesthetic from 2001 back…

Without a doubt. This reflects poorly on the culture within the company.Liquid Ass + Apple Un-intelligence = their iOS team is in bad shape
That's just horrible.
