I'm not sure why people bitch about moving your arms so much. I can play Pop'n Music for an hour and it doesn't make me tired. Stop being sissies.

You will say, "Wow."
You talk as if the 'meat of the development industry' hasn't already spoken on the Rev controller. The Experiment said::lol
NINTARDS AM OWNED TOTAL
I suppose its great to see a bunch of executives at C level developers talk about systems but I need the meat of the development industry: the Square-Enixs, the Konamis, etc. to convince me. No pillow talk, no circle jerks, no 'YAH THIS SYSTEM MAKE YOU GO "WOW" LOL'. I want to see some shit announced. Remember, even developers praised the Dreamcast but when push came to shove, nothing was announced.
John Harker said:Can't we interview people that actually have kits and the controller?
Maybe even people with actual games in development...?
Hey, at least that way, subtle hints will actually be... ya know, HINTS.
And not conjecture and speculation.
Gaia Theory said:You talk as if the 'meat of the development industry' hasn't already spoken on the Rev controller.
Guess what? They have, and it is overwhelmingly positive. Do you know which superstars shared the stage with Iwata at the TGS when he revealed the controller? Do you? Do you know what they had to say? If not - STFU.
Don't we all.The Experiment said:Ahahahahahhahahahahhahaha
Like I said, I want to see some shit announced. The developers are just making lip service. No developer is dumb enough to count out an entire system unless its automatically destined for failure like Gizmondo. Thats why you saw Squaresoft buying Dreamcast development kits and making positive comments about it.
Luckett_X said:Oh people talking in another 1-up Rev circle-jerk? Talk is very cheap in this case. Devs can be just as fanboyish as all of us here at GAF, theyre not all powerful objective creatures beyond our time and space.
Sounds like devs are still just as clueless about the Rev as ever. splendid! Nintendo must represent THE biggest risk for a developer right now, due to them either choosing X360 and being able to start making money right now, invest in the sure-thing; PS3, or commit resources to preparing a game for an unproven market, for a console everyone knows very little about, and from the company that placed 3rd this generation with 3rd party sales reaching an alltime low on their machine as it scrapes along in its deathspin.
But hey, at least theyre talking about how awesome it could possibly be maybe perhaps!
Oh yes anything positive about something Nintendo related has to be the result of bias.capslock said:Since when did 1UP turn into Ntards?

koam said:NDAs suck don't they? Unfortunetely, we won't be hearing real comments on games for quite some time. We may hear game announcements but no details until Nintendo is ready.
It's not a coincidence that the people they interviewed don't normally develop for Nintendo consoles. The real devs, EA, Capcom, Konami, Sega simply aren't allowed to. I'm thinking the people who they interviewed are not official revolution devs yet so they are still able to disclose what they think about the rev.
yeah it such a predictible pattern that it bores.Bluemercury said:Another positive post about Nintendo from Luckett_x... :lol :lol

John Harker said:I forgot who said it in an interview - Iwata or Miyamoto perhaps? - but wasnt it said that for games, it is now totally in the third parties hands. That they can announce or promote their titles however they see fit for the Rev now? I'm sure some things - like the specs - are to be kept under NDA wraps, but I was under the impression developrs can speak freely about their own projects now - just not nintendo first party themselves.
I was expecting SOME announcments/news prior to Q1.

Luckett_X said:In a thread questioning whether Nintendo is smart or not for not revealing the systems power at all, it seems they dont have to ever if their mindslaves already know after receiving telepathic information direct from the hive.
Seriously, stop your shit.
I don't think the kid deserved to be banned for this thread, but the recent explosion of Nintendumb posts does seem a bit much so I guess maybe he is an example or something.
Luckett_X said:Notice the irony that I can call it shit, you can call it Christ's Second Coming in Wi-Fi form, and its all just internet shit flinging until its actually penetrated my DS's little wi-fi hole.
Luckett_X said:I often ponder if N-bots (and other terrorfying fanslaves for each console) need games at all. Sales figures seem to be far more playable to them, as opposed to actual games.
Do you want Nintendo to focus on more Brain Training games and even less interactive pets, or do you want bigger adventures and some new fantastic IP's with fresh characters and innovfative gameplay?
Unless you have stocks in Nintendo, I simply can't fathom why you're all so happy an absolutely shit game is selling so well.
Nintendo needs to make their own Segagaga game at this stage, since the hive would probably orgasm honey for 52 weeks straight.
this is why I said you are so predictible, all of those posts are from nintendo related thread s you have posted. change your act a little so people don't get bored with your replies.Luckett_X said:Hey cool, maybe Factor5 will really get to grips with the Rev's power then..........oh, no wait!
But hey, RE4 looked really good. I'm sure RE5 on Rev will.........oh....shit.
I'm down.

Judging by all the posts in this thread, you appear to be the person with the most mentally challenged responses and you've contributed to nothing in terms of discussion. You don't like Nintendo, so why did you enter this thread? It's not like this thread would have magically changed your opinion about them. So do us all a favor, and stick to threads that match your tastes.
Coming in and calling us "Nintards" is a great way of making friends.
Luckett_X said:Oh shit! I've just been Columbo'd!
Predictably this is the 4th or 5th time you've whined about me. Anyway, the circle-jerk seems to have gone all bitter. I'll back out now and send the cleaner in to mop up in about half an hour, k?
littlewig said:Geez, these trolls get of free, hell, they get congratulated.
If I pull this shit at a Xbox360 thread, I get banned. -_-
Developers will support Nintendo's vision when Nintendo releases some uber-revolutionary game or something crazy like that.
- Nintendo related (Check)elostyle said:How can a thread about positive statements become so negative as a whole?![]()
The Experiment said:Developers will support them if there's enough profit to be had. Thats why all we're hearing is mostly lip service, few games announced. No developer is going to count out Revolution. If Revolution actually does well, its business suicide. EA's stocks dropped 25% when Dreamcast was a success because they were the only third party to say they weren't considering the Dreamcast. Development studios are businesses.
JavyOO7 said:I would think the industry is viable enough to support 3 major consoles, though. Also including 2 major handhelds in the mix... throw in the PC though that's somewhat different landscape in a sense.
Yeah, granted everything is lip service just now. I think it'll all be worth it once the console launches, though.
