Arkham Knight PC patch out. 626mb (9/3/15) [Patch 1]

A 4670K. I usually run at it 3.6. No matter what game I play, when I overclock it to 4.2 I get nothing for my troubles.

That is quite odd. AMD drivers? Not sure.

Maybe you a just are already GPU limited so you just never see the advantage.

Game ran fine for me beforehand, but now my FPS even higher now :) Happy with the patch. Running on a r9 280. Still the best looking game I've ever played tbh.

What is there left to fix?

Upgrade to Windows 10 if you want a performance boost.
I played it for the first time over the weekend. I've got a 970, am playing under vram limit, and the game hitches when I grapple to a high location, slam to the ground, trigger a cut scene. Combat's fine, driving has a lower framerate but is fine.

It's not fixed though, better I'm sure, but the next patch needs to improve streaming from hard drives (which I think they said it will)

The same card as me...and it still drops heavly from time to time even in normal.

Weird, I have a i5 4460 too if that makes a difference, plus it's installed on a pretty fast SSD. Mind you, I had it installed on a 7200 HDD first and it did stutter and drop quite often until I moved it.
