Still don't like how Ollie has killed two people. I don't remember Arrow killing anyone in the JLA comics I've read.

Ollie has killedd before. he Killed Prometheus when Prometheus set off a bomb that killed his Ward's (Arsenal/Speedy/whatever) Daughter. and he killed an assasin named Shado.

Ollie's a badass PTSD struck motherfucker. I like that he's willing to kill. It feels... more logical in a way. Arrows are dangerous weapons after all.

This is what makes the show for me. Bad guys doing bad stuff = arrow to the face.

None of this Batman "I shall not kill" crap.
Agreed.

JLA comics are for kids, aren't they? In his own series he has killed like 20 people, which by DC standards makes him a mass murderer :)

Granted, he doesn't kill often.

New interview with Katie Cassidy:

http://ca.ign.com/articles/2012/12/...-to-new-ideas?abthid=50bea3b2424ec2e93b000062

Question: How would you quantify her interest in Arrow? Is she obsessed, curious?

Cassidy: I think there’s this magnetic, almost sexual tension between the two of them. I feel like she’s curious. I think she just wants to know. I think she likes to figure people out; she reads people. She’s a lawyer, she has to. There’s just this magnetic energy when he’s around. It moves her. She can’t breathe, and it’s almost like she’s a deer in the headlights sometimes. I say this to Stephen sometimes. I just can’t help it. I started to see it, and I go, “Do I look like a deer in the headlights when I look at you? This is just what happens.” He goes, “Yeah, sometimes you have that wide-eyed stare.” I’m like, “Oh, good! That’s what I thought was going on.” But that’s just what happens. It’s what moves me into it.

So... are they still making that Green Arrow movie (Supermax)?

No, but I remember that pitch! It sounded so fucking amazing. I would have loved to have seen that.

But Arrow's a great show. It's an alright trade. It'd be neat if in a future season they incorporated that into the show though! I could see this version of Arrow locked and rotting in a cell and forced to ally himself with all the surviving criminals that hate his guts.

Or.. now that a show about Green Arrow is doing well, and a Justice League movie is planned... repitch the idea.

Please be dead please be dead please be dead please be dead please be dead please be dead.

EDIT: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Really not liking this show...at first I thought it had potential, but it just ends up doing the same shit over and over again. It's like every character just has to make an appearance in every episode...is Ollie's sister/mother/friend/ex-lover really necessary to see every episode? And how many rich people parties do we need to go to? Seriously.

Anyway, I guess I'm ranting because I like the potential this show has, but so far it feels so encapsulated in the same people and settings too often.

She dressed like a poor girl's catwoman, I can live with that.

Oliver still has the perpetual IAMCONSTIPATED look.

Nerd IT girl's the secret hottie.

De Gouw was a lot better this episode. Ill just try to forget that dinner scene ever happened.

Good episode. I enjoyed it

I thought the dinner was fine. The scene in the cemetery was definitely cringe-worthy though. Maybe it was supposed to feel forced and awkward though, seeing how the rest of the episode developed?

So she blames Oliver for making them dine with his ex.... yet she's the one that invited them and both him and Tommy were against it. Yeah nice writing. Really wish they'd just get rid of the bullshit relationship stuff and focus on taking down bad guys.

She actually improved quite a bit tonight. Either she starts feeling comfortable with her character or with the set/colleagues. Let's see what happens in the future.

Yeah, I'll agree she was better here. It just didn't matter much because her character and the plot around it was the least interesting part of this episode. The one marvel is that in the span of two episodes, they've managed to make Tommy interesting and sympathetic. Now it's time for them to start working on Laurel!

The whole point of the scene is to show that Helena is super unstable and Oliver realizes this when she's pissed off for no reason. Gotta give props to them for bridging the soapy stuff and superhero bits pretty successfully there.

Didn't come that way, he didn't even bring up the fact that she's the one that invite them. Just seemed like dumb writing.
