Maybe it's her nickname for the sake of having an easter egg.

Well considering some local CW channels are showing basketball games, and with the fact that there's a break after every episode I'm not really surprised there was a dip in ratings. Besides, CW always get less ratings than other channels.

They were also heavily hinting that she's great at archery. And the crappy drug plots felt like a nod to Speedy's drug use. However, this was before they brought in Roy and sidelined her character so they probably changed their minds.

Basketball game on cw? Didn't know some cw markets aired sports. Local college I assume?

That's what I was thinking, but when did they imply that she was a good archer? I don't remember that.

Also, I think Caity Lotz is great as Black Canary. At first, I was iffy, but she eventually won me over with her interactions with Felicity.

At least in the area I'm in in South Carolina the local CW has been showing ACC basketball games often. Arrow got preempted to 10 a few weeks ago and the same happened to The Originals this past week. Been pretty crappy matchups most of the time too.

Her room was full of archery trophies and I think there were a few lines of dialogue about it. There was also some dialogue about her having great aim in general or something.

I watched some of that. Her goofy-ass way of speaking/acting is perfect for that kind of naive ditzy blonde comedy role.

I just noticed that the rifle on the floor is actually a very obvious rubber prop. Those things are surprisingly common in the film industry (cheaper to rent, won't break if dropped, won't break any teeth if dropped on someone's face), but still.

So I'm listening to the Arrow OST and it's actually pretty good.
Merlyn's theme is great.

So I ended up following that Cassidy Alexa chick to see if she would drop any hints on twitter. man, the people that tweet her are ridiculous.

A normal guy asks her what her favorite book and movie is, she answers, some creeper replies "and my favorite girl is you"

The rest of it is people just pretty much saying how OMG YOU'RE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PERSON ON THIS PLANET.
