Do they have the rights to ED1? Could Raimi play Scotty?

Glad its coming back, I'm sure its going to be around October again for a Halloween premiere?
I would imagine so.
Bruce posted that on social media.
September 23 it is!
Am I the only one hoping to see Ash alone in season 2? The sideckicks were ok at best.
They are bad actors so yes I wouldn't mind.Am I the only one hoping to see Ash alone in season 2? The sideckicks were ok at best.

I finally got a chance to watch the show series and absolutely loved it. The first episode is probably still the best and my favourite but boy the rest of the season does a fantastic job of capturing what I love about the movies.
Bruce Campbell kills it as always and the sidekick characters weren't as bad as I feared. As an Aussie it was funny to randomly see the girls from a long running Aussie soap in the show. They went out in style though. Amazing.
She will play the high school sweetheart of the title character, Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell).
First look at season 2:

Ha! Pablo looks like the Venezuelan version of Gerald from Hey Arnold.

Even more gore! Yessssssssssss 😍😍😍😍
I was a little worried that they might veer away from some of the Evil Deadness since they did cram a lot of the throwback stuff in the first season. Loving that seem to be taking it a step further with the possessions where headless bodies and intestines (!) are staying possessed. And they also look to be using practical effects for the most part! All that splatter looked far chunkier and gooier than anything that was displayed in the first season. Seems like visually everything has a bit more budget behind it too.
Also I thought this was starting a month earlier in September? I guess they felt an October premiere would be the best way to promote the series.
