Oh man the new trailer looks incredible. Lots of little details if you go through the trailer frame by frame. This season is going to rock!
They finally got the rights to the Army of Darkness content and now can talk about stuff from that film on the show and have plans to do so:

So apparently Starz is considering NOT ordering anymore Ash VS Evil Dead seasons. Were not quite happy with the ratings and the DVD/Blu-Ray preorders have been very mediocre. Bruce Campbel is urging people to write to Starz, subscribe and support the show. This was all unveiled during the panel that took place a bit ago. People are talking about it here:

Love the show so I am completely heart broken about this. I feel like people don't watch good shows at all anymore and it was disappointing enough for me to watch Hannibal bomb so hard. Same with Constantine and other unique shows. Shitty!

Do people even buy enough DVD/BDs for that to even matter anymore? I thought these days ratings & streaming services were everything for TV shows.
Ash vs Evil Dead didn't even air in my country, so it's hard to show my support. I'll be picking up the US Blu-ray.
I didn't watch the whole panel, but I saw the part where Campbell urged fans to subscribe to Starz so they can do seasons 3 and 4, and I didn't hear any mention of Starz being unhappy with the ratings or that they were considering cancelling the show after next season just based on the performance of season one* - it just sounded to me like your typical "We love doing what we do and want to do more so everyone please support the show!" type thing. I think he even said something similar last year before the first season premiered.
*I mean, maybe Starz had higher expectations for season one, but overall the show didn't perform terribly compared to their other shows. On the contrary, in fact, and the ratings did grow over the course of the season. At any rate, their decision on whether to move forward with the show or not will depend on next season's ratings/buzz. Any sort of panic regarding the future of the series is premature at this point.
Very few TV shows do well anymore on physical media - Downton Abbey, Game of Thrones, and Outlander are the only TV shows to break the top 100 best selling DVDs of the year so far (and were the only TV shows on last year's overall list), and only the first two made the blu-ray list.
HBO is making a good amount on Game of Thrones, but the amount of revenue generated by the rest of the titles (especially the ones further down the list) would be so small that I can't image it being a factor for any studio re: renewal decisions.

Didn't the show gain viewers over time last season? Maybe it's the DVR numbers I'm thinking of. I really hope that if the show gets cancelled that we're left with a satisfying conclusion.
I'm happy that we got at leastu one season and a three episode cabin arc that pretty much acts as Evil Dead 4. Season 2 will just be more icing on the cake. I do have a feeling they'll be at least able to squeeze one more season out of it. Shame that to hear that it's having a hard time finding an audience.
Do people actually know this show exists? I've spoken to a few people who love the movies, but when I mentioned how great the show is, I get a blank stare, "there's an evil dead show?"
For European/Australian people, the region B blu-ray is currently 44.98 Australian dollars @ JB Hi-Fi. Fox seems to be skipping the Blu-ray in Europe and releasing it on DVD only.
Sunday is proving to be a very good day for Starz. Last nights Season 3 Survivors Remorse premiere drew 883,000 viewers in Live+SD, up 164% from its second-season debut and 335% from its series premiere debut telecast in 2014. The series premiere night airings (three telecasts) July 24 totaled 1.25 million in Live+SD, the most ever for a Starz original comedy series. Ash vs. Evil Dead is the next-highest with 1.19 million.
The viewing audience was up across the board, according to Starz, but disproportionately in younger and female demos. In adults 18-34, the Season 3 premiere was up 373% from the Season 2 premiere and up 59% in overall audience. In women 18+, the Season 3 debut was up 230% from Season 2, up 54% in overall audience.
Survivors Remorse also had a strong lead-in with Power, which broke Starz records in its Season 3 debut on July 17. Last year, Blunt Talk was the lead-in to Survivors Remorse when it aired on Saturday night, along with Power.
Powers third-season premiere has drawn up to 6.5 million viewers so far.
Some good news? Your thoughts?

Correct me if I am wrong but these numbers sound pretty damn good for Ash VS Evil Dead. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
Season 2 will premiere on October 2 with a partially extended episode.
