I know this was in the bowl thread and that most people already know about this, but just in case some people don't know

Ashlee Simpson was booed at the conclusion of her performance during the
halftime show at the FedEx Orange Bowl between the Oklahoma Sooners and the USC Trojans Tuesday night.

Wow man, you're really touchy over a person you don't like anyway.

People simply don't like her. They didn't like her before the SNL incident and a lot more certainly don't afterwards. I tend to agree with Bacon, the whole "whiny little sister that thinks she's talented just because her sister is" factor is the reason I personally don't think much of her. Plus as stated she really can't sing anyway. :lol

You idiot, she's supposed to be a professional. And as a professional, she was generously compensated for her performance, which was horrendous. She needs to know she sucks. Her only psychological problem is that she actually thinks she has talent and deserves the success she has achieved so far.

Yeah, call me when these grade school brats that are singing are being paid multi-million dollar sums of money to be as sucky as they are in the school recital, and merely being spurred on by the marketing machine that is the modern pop industry rather than having any real talent.

By the way, who was that off key person singing with Clarkson in the beginning? That wasn't very pleasant sounding either, prolly should have kept on going with no vocals. Lord, that whole show was such a disaster. Gotta be the worst half time show ever.

The first, and most glaring mistake was to book Ashlee Simpson, of all people, to perform for a stadium full of drunken football fans.
The only attendees who would appreciate such a performance are the male cheerleaders, and the gay-frat house in attendance.

I can't believe the entire stadium could spontaneously erupt in boos like that. Usually at least SOME people would pretend to be polite and half-heartedly clap, but this was a really concerted effort by everyone involved.
