Now Elon is trying to call out Asmongold as getting "carried" too because he has... editors for his YT channel? Just like any other content creator? And leaking DMs, which is against his own platform's TOS? And he took away Asmongold's blue checkmark?

I think he assumes "editor" means Asmon has someone who tells him what to say or do, kind of like an editor has control over the writers at a newspaper. He legit doesn't understand what a Youtube editor actually does.
