Wow. I was watching this just now while listening to a James Taylor CD, and the minute the thing floated by, he introduced a guitarist named Hugh McCracken. Freaked me out for a second.
WTF is up with the TIME PLAYED on the stats page. It says 8 hours, I swear I've played 16 or so. Also, B button shouldn't be loot. It's obnoxious trying to open a chest.

Was able to see that clip. So why put that in the game just to have it swim by. Anyone think its possible there is a secret quest in the game involving it? Seems like a awfully cool looking model to be simple used for just that.

Why is it better than B then? (Just curious of your thoughts about this). Both X and B are "hand buttons". X is "Armed hand" and "B is "Free Hand". Looting isn't an action you do with a weapon.
Oh I'm all for easter eggs but this just seems a tad bit too much simple to be just a egg. Maybe it just is, and if so definetly one of THE coolest ones.

This is happening either because you're too far from the chest or not facing it enough. Or again because you didn't hold the button but damn, I'm sure you know how to hold a button.
The chest interaction zone is also very large. So large that it totally would need a camera cut for Ezio's teleporting because right now it really doesnt look nice to see your character teleports from 4 feet away in order to loot the chest. :lol
Whats the frame rate like on 360 version? Only asking as its chugging abit on PS3 and Im tempted to trade it for that version. Tearing dont bother me (Ive just finished Bayonetta on 360 and that tears way way worse than this on PS3).

Once you find em, read all of them. They're actually really well done imo. I waited till I collected every single piece before starting from page 1. I'm glad I made that choice.
didn't care for the minerva reveal and would rather it if the game had just focused on ezio's story - though i understand how important it was to the overall plot of the franchise, so it's cool.
all in all, it's easily my game of the year and a really fantastic effort.
because i think it's important, i'll clarify on the bug which i ran into in case it would interest any ubisoft members. after
sequence 11, (which finishes once you receive the assassin mark on your arm and dive off the bell tower)
, if you press start and quit while the brief cutscene with
desmond
is playing, it will render your savefile unusable. the next time you load up, your savefile is called hideout and once you load into it there is no way to trigger any cutscenes or enter the animus again. there are no npc's or prompts for anything, essentially forcing you to restart the game.
last time i mentioned this i wrote that i'd read elsewhere that i was
supposed to be turning on more sensors. this was wrong info, as you never control desmond after the cutscene, you go back into the animus and that's when it skips forward to sequence 14. it's the second time you see desmond after you get into the animus.
hopefully that clears up what i said before. i just want to bring it to the attention of members and possible ubisoft guys because i think it's a pretty huge bug. cheers.

COOP mentioned the constant framerate issues on the PS3 version. the 360 version runs silky smooth from my experience. the 360 also has some screen-tearing in some specific sections so they both have that problem.
