Is it not optimized out of box?
 
Yeah these graphics are not good. Still have hopes that the gameplay will hold up but damn, you'd think they'd invest more into the goddamn graphics for a launch game
 
So there's no actual next-gen versions if these games? We're just waiting on a "next-gen" patch then?

Haven't had a chance to watch yet.

Could be less optimized but I find bizzarre there are just the one X version just in BC mode.

Considering watch dogs has Ray tracing on it I'm pretty sure this is the XSX version of the game, it was also touted to be optimised for for XSX it's more than likely it's the XSX version
 
Watch Dogs Legion, trash.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla looks like a dumpster fire.

Cold War is outdated trash.

Cyberpunk delayed till December, might get delayed till later.

3rd parties just can't deliver. Thank God Sony is launching with a slew of first party games I can play, or else this launch would be miserable to be quite honest.

Yea . But even then it looks worse than odyssey and origin imo. Ofcourse those were 30 fps. Maybe cost of going 60 fps for their old ass engine is so high that they had to reduce setting?

But only the Ubisoft trailer on XsX shows Ray Tracing, there are several on YouTube running the game in BC mode on XsX without RT because it isn't patched yet. That's why DF haven't reviewed it on next gen yet either.
 
I kinda don't mind series x not having an exclusives at launch anymore. I'll have watch dogs legion and this to play. It sucks already having WDL and not wanting to touch it until you have the console though. That ray tracing video was very impressive.
 
This guy interviewed a bunch of devs and played a few alpha builds and some guy asked him the question:

Some outuber say the graphics haven't been polished yet, and it looks drastically downgraded compared to odyssey is this true?



His answer
- huge upgrade on the second preview night and day difference
- looks as good if not better then odyssey.

So it could be its a earlier review build that we see here for those consoles. Could also be that ubisoft is just going to release the xbox one and ps4 version for the next generation consoles to get 4k and 60 fps going and call it a day. Who knows tho.

So u telling us 60 fps version we are seeing here, that ubisoft tout as the next gen feature, is not the next gen version and we need to listen to a random YouTuber?
 
Sorry to say but if this is next gen on consoles this is rather disappointing. hopefully it improves i in the visuals department, it looks rough

'member Black Flag PS4? This is probably same deal and knowing Ubisoft, they give this max a config change, because otherwise you would pay for next-gen patch.
 
The Youtube video isn't even 4K, and the enhanced version isn't out. The only thing this trailer represents is original xbox performance, that's it.
 
Good grief. Is this the XsX version or not? No guesses please... facts.

...and why do I even care? Ubisoft are gaming liquid shit.

Watch Dogs patch with next gen support an RT isn't out yet either.
 
This video is only 1080p and has a very low bitrate. Also, it does not have the xbox series x patch, so this is basically just the currentgen version. Don't know why people act like its the final version of the game. It will look much better on your screen with a much higher bitrate, than this lowbitrate video

I saw a lot more video's then this video and frankly this video stands out with its walk animation being absolutely dreadful.

Hang on, why does anyone think this guy has a Series X? None of his videos show it and most youtubers are tripping over themselves to do unboxing videos and hints. Seems strange he wouldnt bother and then would leak some gameplay?

This is correct. I am not saying the world will change but a patch for optimization for ANY game is being done for a reason. I keep seeing pretty big channels doing stuff with no information about the actual real patches on some of these games coming.
 
Even if there is a big update in build, it wont change character models. Which look worse than Odyssey. hell animation wise Odyssey looks way better.

I can tell the difference in teams.

It better be a slider, not a toggle. Gotta make sure gender-non-conforming vikings are represented. The fact there's no "race" option is offensive too.

For those who think the above sentences are stupid, remember that we've got black Nazis running around in Call of Duty and an "other" gender option in COD: Cold War.
