TOP KNOCKOUT GONE FROM TNA

Gail Kim, who the entire TNA Knockouts division was initially built around and was the first Knockouts champion, is gone from TNA. I don't have details regarding the departure yet, but TNA did remove Kim from their roster and Knockouts sections this evening.

Kim, a former WWE Women's champion, had been with the company since October 2005, originally as a valet for Jeff Jarrett and America's Most Wanted. Kim graduated into the top babyface for the Knockouts division, including a really good feud against Awesome Kong.

In recent months, she had been among the top of the babyface Knockouts alongside ODB, Roxxi and current champion Taylor Wilde, but had not been portrayed as the top female in the division.

new details on the TNA game from this podcast. Sounds really bad, no scorpion deathlock, no anke lock, only 5 CAWs, no CAWs online... it's just... very disappointing.

as a huge sting mark, I'm extremely disappointed that the deathlock isn't in. I haven't even seen the stinger splash either. I mean come on MIDWAY, friggin WCW/NWO World Tour had the deathlock and a weird looking stinger splash! There's no EXCUSE

why did AKI have to leave us :'-(

Really Midway??? NO DEATHLOCK? Are you insane????

- Sometime this fall, Mr. Kennedy’s WWE contract will be expiring and many wouldn’t be surprised to see WWE let Kennedy go considering how this past year has been for him.

That wasn't in there.

The Outcast/Brad feud is rather interesting...

Anyhow in hindsight, I kind of like the SmackDown Scramble.

It gives two frontrunners in HHH and Hardy, but also allows the WWE to build up a lot of mid-card heels quickly. I mean Smackdown is face heavy with HHH, Taker, Hardy and the likes.

Edge may be out recovering for a bit.

More feul to the Mick to TNA fire....

Damn, do I hope that TNA somehow surprises anyone. I'm having some doubts, though. The developer making the TNA game isn't exactly a AAA developer...

Jim Ross noted on his blog that Morishima on dark matches last week wasn't "bad nor good" or something like that. Eh... the guy is a great worker, if he does get signed by the WWE, I hope he can transition to the WWE style nicely.

Why the hell is RAW on SciFi tonight? You bastards are cutting into my Star Trek time. ALL I LOOK FORWARD TOO ALL WEEK LONG IS MY STAR TREK TIME.

From http://www.prowrestling.net

John Cena is nursing a serious neck injury that is causing numbness in one of his arms, according to the Wrestling Observer and PWInsider websites. He had an MRI on Saturday before the New York house show and told people his neck is "f---ed up badly," according to the Observer. He is not advertised as working tonight on Raw, but he is still listed for the WWE Unforgiven main event.

Blame the U.S. Open.

WHOOOOOOO HOOOOO!!!
No Cena in the main event at Unforgiven!!!
The Cleveland curse strikes again!

Last time he went to Cleveland, he popped his pec muscle and dropped the belt, this time he doesn't make it to the show.

On a serious note, it always sucks when someone's hurt. Wish him a speedy recovery, an injured neck is nothing to sneeze at.

A "worthwhile replacement" for Cena, eh?

D'Lo Brown replacing John Cena in the scramble match am confirmed.

Actually I think wishing him a long recovery would work better since as you said neck injuries are not something one would want to rush treatment of lest a re-aggravation occur.

I fucking hate this show. Everyone is sooooooo disrespectful! Adamle is the nicest man in teh world and EVERYONE treats him SO MEAN! You see him sigh after asking that jerk HBK if he was okay!? I want to give him a hug. :(

Alex Hernandez called in the following spoilers from tonight's TNA Impact taping:

*Awesome Kong defeated Josie, billed from Memphis, TN. Josie was one of the women from the Slammiversary 2008 Kong challenge. ODB attacked Kong until the referees pulled her off.

*Consequences Creed & Jay Lethal defeated X-Division champ Petey Williams & Sheik Abdul Bashir after miscommunication among the heels. They got into a scuffle afterwards as well.

*Curry Man defeated Jimmy Rave. Rave and Lance Rock attacked Curry until the Prince Justice Brotherhood made the save.

*Kurt Angle defeated Kevin Nash. Samoa Joe was on commentary and had some words with Nash, which allowed Angle to take advantage. Joe had words with Nash after the bout but Nash walked off.

*The Beautiful People defeated TNA Knockout champ Taylor Wilde & Roxxi after Velvey shot hairspray in Roxxi's eyes. Kip James paperbags Roxxi and they threaten to cut Wilde's hair but Rhino hits the ring for the save.

*Sting came to the ring to cut a promo about his actions in recent weeks. He said that the young stars don't have respect, so he is going to show them respect. Sting said he got involved in Joe's match against Booker T in Houston because Joe could have simply beaten Booker but Joe tried to take it too far and disrespect a legend and then flipped off Sting. Sting said he used to see Joe as the future of TNA but he can't be if he does things like that. Sting says that Ric Flair showed him respect when he was young. Sting calls out any of the young names if they have a problem with what he has to say. AJ Styles comes out. Sting says that Styles disrespected him by calling him a coward and took his match with Kurt Angle too far as well. AJ says he helped build TNA from the beginning. Sting offers to give Styles his bat for AJ to hit him from behind. AJ ponders, then takes the bat, but turns Sting around to face him. Sting counters and nails the Scorpion Death Drop. Jeff Jarrett's music plays to end the segment.

*TNA Tag Team champs Beer Money, Inc. defeated Shark Boy & Super Eric. LAX, including the returning Homicide wearing an eyepatch, attacked Beer Money.

*They did an angle where 3D and Johnny Devine called out Abyss for getting soft. They did some comedy spots where Abyss worked over Devine, but 3D attacked him and Matt Morgan made the save.

ODB defeated Raisha Saied. ODB pulled off Saied's mask (backstage) so we didn't get to see her face. ODB showed off the mask but was attacked by Kong and laid out.

Xplosion:

*Rhino pinned Sonjay Dutt.

Impact:

*They do a promo where Kevin Nash tells Samoa Joe he's going to prove to him Joe's not ready for the PPV. He books Joe against three opponents - the challengers are Johnny Devine and Lance Rock. Joe beats both easily. The third challenger comes out and it's Tomko. Joe defeats Tomko.

PWInsider.com will be updating with live spoilers as the taping progresses.

didn't read, just copied and pasted..

EDIT: ECW SPOILERS
Story By: Ryan Gray
WWE taped this week’s edition of ECW on Sci-Fi from the Wachovia Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Special thanks to Wrestling News World reader Katie for text-messaging the following results. If you are attending a WWE event in the near future and would be interested in assisting with our weekly live coverage please email me your name, mobile number, and show date to wnwryan [at] yahoo.com.

* A WrestleMania XXIV video package is shown.

* The crowd is very lively for the small venue.

Dark Match:
* D-Lo Brown b. Jake Hager
- D-Lo got the win with the lo down.

ECW On Sci-Fi: (Airing Tomorrow)
* Tiffany introduces Theodore Long. A ECW Championship Scramble Match is announced for Unforgiven. Qualifying matches will be held throughout tonight’s taping.

* Matt Hardy b. John Morrison
- Hardy got the win with Twist of Fate.

* Backstage is Theodore Long, Tiffany, and Mark Henry. Mark is upset about being in the scramble. Teddy informs him that one, two, or three belts could change hands -- could his be one?

* The Miz b. Evan Bourne
- The Miz earns a spot in the scramble at Unforgiven.

* Chavo Guerrero b. Tommy Dreamer
- Chavo gets the win with a frog splash. He's now earned a spot in the scramble.

* Finlay b. Mike Knox
- Finlay got the win using his shilelagh. He got the last spot in the scramble. Hornswoggle at ringside to celebrate.

For the love of all things holy... put Jericho in the main event scramble. LET HIM WIN. He's the best thing going right now and have the HBK and Y2J feud have just a "little bit more" to it.

Here comes the manscape! Too bad we can all see the ending of this match a mile away.

Poor Santino...

EDIT: Well this is a nice change of a cliched storyline of the dominant spouse angle. I see a face turn for Santino down the road after being bossed around by Beth. Should be interesting to watch this play out. Getting dominated by a girlfriend goes completely against his Italian character stereotype.

WWE is fucking shit besides Santino. I want a .gif of the look on his face in pain when Jamaica man fell on his knee. :lol
